(9) chemistry

"j-jacob. wake up." gianna groans, as she was softly shaking jacob. "jacob! it's 4!" hearing those words, jacob sits up. "shit. isn't filming at 5?" gianna nods as she stood up to put on her bra. "turn around, weirdo." jacob clears his throat and turns away to grab his underwear. as they finished getting ready, gianna decided to put her hair in a bun, knowing it was gonna get ruined by her stylist anyways.

"you ready?" jacob said, waiting for her at the door. "give me a minute." gianna said back as she sprayed her perfume.

"where are you going?" jacob inquired as he watched gianna make her way to her car. "i'm going to my car." jacob softly grabs the girls  wrist, causing her to turn around. "what's the point? you can just ride with me, we're going the same place." gianna bites her lips (not in a sexual way yall) "i think it's better if i just go on my own." jacob 'oh's' and lets go of her wrist as they both made their way to her own cars.

gianna sat in the front seat as she sighed. truth is, she could've ride out with jacob if she wanted to, but that's the thing. she didn't want to. she knew by the time they got there, paparazzi would beat them to it and knowing the photos that were gonna be taken would spread so many rumors and drama. and another thing is, she regrets what happened earlier. now this whole thing is gonna be more awkward.

"good morning, michelle." gianna greeted her stylist. sitting down, gianna took off the pins she put in her hair, making it easier for michelle. "you're a little late, you know that?" michelle laughed, "had a little accident this morning." gianna said as she laughed with her.

michelle decided to go for a little casual hair down. curling her hair a bit. "we're just filming to scene where your character meets josh so nothing too crazy." gianna nods in understatement as she head out to her dressing room.

"hey." jacob said, coming up to her as they were getting ready to shoot the second part. "what's up." gianna stares at the ground, catching her weird behavior, jacob softly lifts her head up with his index finger. "jacob stop." gianna pushes his hand away, "did i do something?" gianna sucks her teeth.

"i don't wanna do this anymore - like this." she said, motioning her hands over to both him and her. "us." jacob raises his brow in confusion, "what? what are we doing?"

"bro. we can't even practice lines without having to full on make out or have sex. and honestly, knowing the type of person you are, i don't wanna keep on doing that." jacob looks at gianna in confusion, "the type of person i am? what type of person am i, gianna, huh?" gianna rolls her eyes, "you know exactly what type." gianna says, walking to her chair.

"you know, i really thought we were finally getting along? i guess not." jacob stated back, following her. "well think again because how could you really think i'd get along with somebody like you." jacob scoffs, rolling his eyes. "you're fucking unbelievable, seriously." was the last said before he went back to his trailer.

gianna grabs her water bottle, drinking almost the entire thing. "yeah i'm the unbelievable one."

"alright, ready and...action!" gianna looks up at jacob, "i love you josh." gianna blankly says, "i love you too kate." jacob cups the girls face, going in for a kiss until he was stopped by theodore. "cut!" gianna clears her throat, "come on guys! what's going on? i thought i asked you guys to practice some lines." theodore complained, hitting the clipboard on his head.

"we did, sir." jacob replied, "then where's the tension, the chemistry?" gianna shrugs, "i'm sorry, we'll try again." after 30 minutes, they finally got there. that "chemistry" "alright cut!"

"i want you two to practice more lines together, how about tomorrow? there's no filming." gianna looks at jacob, trying to find an excuse to not practice with him. atleast not tomorrow. before gianna could say anything, jacob answered for her, "yeah sure."
