She woke up in a dark room. She sat up on her elbows looking around the room. This definitely was not her room or bed. Then the past events of last night came rushing to her.
"Evan?" She whispered. She heard a groan from the ground and looked over the bed.
She spotted him lying on the ground tangled in blankets. "Hi." He whispered.
His morning voice was rough and it made her hear flutter. He got up, his red fluffy hair now messy and his clothes wrinkled. She was sure she wasn't much better. She followed in suit and got up.
They awkwardly stood there for a few minutes, looking into each other's eyes.
"So... about last night..." Evan started, looking anywhere but at her.
"Ummm..." she blushed remembering their kiss, "I -um well—"
"Leah I like you." He stuttered. She smiled at him, he blushed a bright red, almost matching his hair.
"I like you too." She whispered. She leaned up and kissed him. Evan wrapped his arms around her small waist and she tangled her hands in his hair. The kiss started to get more passionate. He let out a groan and then pulled away.
"Leah, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked gently, arms still wrapped around her waist.
"Yes!" She shouted, pulling him into a tight hug. She tried to pull away but he held he tighter. Stuffing his face in her neck, pulling her against him.
"Evan?" She asked trying to pull away and this time he let go.
"Sorry, that was the best hug I've had in a long time." He said.
This melted her heart, but she needed to get ready for school.
"See you in science?" She asked heading for the door.
"You know it!" He smirked then shut the door when she was in the hallway.

During science Evan actually helped today, and all of her other classes just floated by. She was now walking down to her dorm. She asked one of the professors for a map so she could find her way.
"Madeline?" She called out as she walked into the dorm.
"Yeah!" She shouted from the bathroom.
"I need to tell you something! Hurry up!" She shouted back.
Madeline rushed out a few minutes later and sat on the bed.
"You know that one kid in science, the one with red hair, and the one on the deck last night at the party?" Leah questioned and when Madeleine nodded she continued, telling her all the events and telling her about this morning.
"Oh my god! I'm so happy for you!" She squealed, getting up and giving her a bone crushing hug.
Leah's phone dinged. She pulled away from the hug and her phone read:
Meat me at the cafe
This is Evan by the way
She sighed, said goodbye to Madeline and then headed down the cafe.
It was busy since it was the middle of the day. She spotted red hair and walked over to his.
"Hey." She said giving him a hug. "What do you need?" She asked.
"Nothing, I just wanted to see you." He pulled away and smirked at her.
"Do you want to go outside?" She asked.
"Sure! Let's go!" He said running away from her.
She ran after him onto the freshly cut lawn. No one was out there, the only sound you could hear was the cars, birds, and the giggling from the two young adults.
Evan tackled her to the ground and started to tickle her.
"Evan — stop — HAHAH — Evan—" she said between gasped of air.
When he finally stopped they were just laying there in the grass. Enjoying the sun.
She looked over at him to see him watching her. She roller on top of him and kissed him. He wrapped his arms around her, kissing her back.
"Hey! Get a room!" They heard from behind them. They jumped apart and looked up.
It was madeleine with the boy she was with last night.
"Simon? What are you doing here?" Evan asked, jumping to his feet.
"Madeline?" She asked rushing over to her.
"Simon, this is Leah, Leah this is Simon." Evan introduced. She shook the blonds hand, smiling at him. She looked at Evan and saw a hint of jealousy in his blue eyes.
"Evan this is Madeline, Madeline this is Evan." He gave her a chin nod as she smiled.
"Alright! Now that we all know each other we should go do something!" Simon chirped, grabbing Madeline's hand and walked away.
She looked at Evan and shrugged. He wrapped his arm around her waist protectively. They walked into the cafe. They each got lattes and cake pops. They chatted for a while, laughing and getting to know each other.
They were beginning to become good friends. They stayed there for about an hour before going back to their dorms.
She watched as the boys walked off and turned to Madeline.
"So, you and Simon huh?" She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively.
"Shut up." She blushed, and shoved her shoulder walking away.
"I mean, you guys are cute together." Leah said as she caught up to her.
"So are you and Evan." Madeline said, walking into their dorm. They got ready for bed, getting into their pjs and brushing their teeth.
When Madeline fell asleep, she stayed awake texting Evan goodnight then drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
