I was...
I was 3 getting shipped to different houses
While somebody was at work
I was 5 not understanding why the other kids
had mom and dad
When I had mom or dad
I was 6 when I learned the word divorce
I was 7 learning first hand what suicide was
Grieving alone in my room
I was 8 looking up how to lose weight
I was 10 giving my mom money for cigarettes
I was 11 putting deep lines in my wrists
I am 13 with a drinking problem
I'll forever be the little girl living though it all
Because she made me who I am today
I'm only 13 years in seeing more than most adults have
