So before we jump into the story let's give a little backup story here. So I have been a fan of role-playing games since I was young. The ability to escape from real-world problems into a different world where maybe you're not invisible but a strong hero, Or maybe instead of being unheard or spoken over by everyone you are a fun-loving voice of the party. It's always nice to have a little escape and a little world of your own. Once as an adult I got to play Dungeons and Dragons (before mostly computer games and video games) I fell in love with the creativity of characters people could come up with. So I started backing up some DND stuff on Kickstarter. And due to one of my backings, it threw this little calendar quest as a 'hey you might be interested in'. And that little project was The Leaf Riders of Wrenwood. So far I am loving this little project but I didn't feel right to start writing the story. The reason is at the start you had to play 7 premade characters. which was fine since I never played a game like this. The only thing I didn't like with the premade characters there was no me in the character. Any time I write or role play my character has a piece of me in them so it was hard for me to do a write-up of characters prior. Then this week your choice was to make up your character or one of the previous ones. So I decided to make my own and to tell the story.
So a little catch-up for anyone reading because things do kind of come to a head at where we are. Each character deals with these bugs that are attacking Wrenwood. The last character you play the bugs has entered the thrown room but thankfully the royal family is out and about watching the leaf-turning festival.
