- Y/N's POV -
I was currently watering the flowers that are scattered around the hotel, humming as I approached some roses.
Roses are my favorite flower, especially red ones. Common right? Well not really. Not a lot of people actually like roses, but I personally find them pretty.
I watered the flowers a generous amount but not too much to the point where they were drowned.
My ears perked in the direction of hooves. I looked up and smiled as I noticed Alastor walking towards me. "Good evening Al!" I chirped, he smiled as he approached me.
"Good evening dear! How's flower watering doing?" He asked, I smiled. "Good, I was just admiring the roses." I said with a warm smile.
Alastor's smile widened, "Are roses your favorite?" He asked. I nodded, "Remind me of when I was alive." I said somberly, Alastor's gaze softened and his smile faltered slightly.
Suddenly as I was looking at the rose's I felt something being placed in my hair, right next to my left ear. I looked up and saw Alastor placing a red rose into my hair.
I smiled softly, "Thank you Al." I said softly. He gave me a genuine smile which surprised me. I felt my smile widen.
I felt my cheeks getting warm at his gesture. "No problem darling, now I have some papers to take care of. I'll see you later." He said as he patted my head softly.
I chuckled and nodded, he smiled before continuing down the hallway and towards his office. I watched him walk away with a soft smile.
- ALASTOR's POV -
I sighed as I entered my office, shutting the door behind me. 'Why did I do that?' I thought with confusion as I sat down at my desk, holding my face in my hands.
