Jester of sin

It was a peaceful day, birds chirping in the trees on this Early Spring morning in Japan. Despite the constant Devil incidents, it was a rare moment of tranquillity for the people. At least, just for this morning.

Kaque opens his eyes groggily, greeted by the sight of a Devil shaking his arm.
"Kaque, wake up.. You are yet to serve your purpose in our contract." The voice rang through his mind as he sat up, looking over at the Devil.

"You manifested just to wake me up? What a pain in the ass." He groaned, rubbing his eyes and letting out a yawn. "Can I not even get sleep anymore?"

"Not until you fulfill the contract." The Devil would respond, grinning. She was somewhat tall, standing at around 5'11, with various holes across her limbs and upper body, a sapphire blue mist swirling out of them. "I gave you power, you need to use it. I'm not here to just look pretty." She glared at him while speaking, evidently quite annoyed at her contractor's lack of usage for her capabilities.

"Uh-huh, whatever Zaiko, let me wake up first." Kaque would respond, standing up and walking to his window, letting the fresh air run through his hair. "It seems relatively peaceful today, it would be stupid to go around using the power for nothing."

Zaiko glares at him, raising her voice in anger as she responds. "It's also stupid to not use it at all! Why would you even form a contract with me in the first place?"

"Because you'll be useful when you are. Right now, there's no threat, so there's no need for it." Kaque would glare at her "Besides what enemy would we even have to face? the only thing we are actually struggling with is our funds running low..."

Zaiko interjects, Smiling at Kaque "you are struggling not me as I technically don't need food to survive" Kaque would say "But you need my body to survive w just a insufferable parasite"

Zaiko would pout at the sudden insult. "Oh is that how you see me?" Zaiko would get a more angry reaction, As she quotes Kaques statement on her existence. "AN INSUFFERABLE PARASITE?!" Zaiko would get even angrier "I'm the reason why you even have power and you don't even appreciate me I'm starting to think you are just a horrible partner."

Kaque interrupts zaikos rant. "Fine you want to do something we will do something, Makima might have some work for us so we should go stop by the public safety office" Kaque would say, As he puts on his jacket walking out the door" Zaiko would yell "WAIT KAQUE WAIT ON ME" Zaiko would follow out with him.

Public Safety Divison 4

"Fuck you, man. I got next!" A voice would yell as Kaque slowly made his way through the corridor of the office. A loud shout would be heard from Denji, a blond boy, as he was on the floor on both his knees with a red haired woman using him as a footrest. "Shut up, bastard! You aren't worthy of being a footrest for Mrs. Makima," Denji would say as he looked up at Kryptic.

A disgusted look enveloped Kaque as he looked down at the two. "As lively as ever, huh...? You two bicker about Makima every day," Kaque would say as he looked at them. "Shut up, Kaque. You just don't have good taste in women! Makima is a goddess that should be worshiped!" Kryptic would say as he looked at Kaque.

"Both of you, quit it," Makima said as she broke the atmosphere and brought up a document. "Kaque, I need you and Pie to go out and deal with the devil that's supposedly terrorizing some local farmer," Makima said as she inspected her nails.
