She sighed as she looked at the study guide on the laptop. It was for her math class, and she hated math with a passion—it was the worst subject to ever exist. Iyana despised the word and its lessons with every single atom of her being.

Resting her head gently on the keyboard, she turned her head to the side and looked out the window. Two birds were sitting there, staring directly at her, but she was too tired to do anything. That damn subject had drained her completely.

Then her phone rang, placed beside her laptop. She exhaustedly picked it up. Her head jolted up at the sight of the caller ID. She quickly fixed her hair with her hand, seeing the Facetime request. Checking the small mirror on the corner of her desk, she decided to answer, thinking she looked decent enough.

"Hey, Iyana!" Haechan exclaimed, waving his hand from the other side.

"Hi, Haechan!" she greeted back with a smile.

"Why did you call me?" she asked, placing her phone on a cup, showing just the upper half of her body.

"Oh, are you busy now?" he questioned, lowering his camera.

"Not really, just finishing up some assignments. Why?" she asked.

"I'll send you the location then!" he said before hanging up.

She stared at her phone with a confused expression as he sent a location with the message, "Come, I have a surprise for you :)." She stared at the message for another minute before deciding to leave the house and head to the given address.

"Mom, I'm going somewhere with a friend!" she called out as she closed the front door.

She looked down at her phone to check the GPS. Her eyes sparkled when she saw the hanging lights in the distance. Glancing back at her phone, she confirmed that it was the location Haechan had shared with her. Hesitantly, she made her way.

It turned out to be a public basketball court, the four corner lights illuminating the area. In the middle, a blue sheet was spread out with a picnic basket filled to the brim with food, plates, and drinks beside it.

"Oh, I didn't expect you to come so quickly," Haechan commented, running toward her.

"What is this?" she asked, smiling.

"I did this for you and me," he answered, nodding his head proudly.

"How long did it take?" she asked enthusiastically.

"Only an hour," he admitted, scratching his nape.

"You didn't have to do all this," she answered, looking him in the eyes. She couldn't take her eyes off him, especially since he was sweaty from running around. He looked way too good.
