Xingqiu's POV:

It was my my first year in South View College. Honestly, I had no friends, and I wasn't doing very well. The only place I felt happy in was the library, but I could only go there at lunch, break, and after school (which I did every day). I was currently in geography class, but I already knew about Teyvat, so there was no need to listen. I didn't get too much sleep either, so I thought I would catch up to my sleep schedule, and so I fell asleep.

Then I felt a clap right in front of me. I raced to sit up and my teacher was in front of me. He knew I had fallen asleep...

"Your work, Mr.Guhua?" He asked. I stared at him blankly, I could hear the rest of the class laughing at me. I felt my heart racing, and I began sweating immensely.
"Sigh...To Mrs.Jeans office now."
I stood up and left the room. My head felt boiling like I was about to catch on fire... I felt nauseous. I was dizzy, and the world around me was barely visible anymore. Then, I blacked out.

- Hours later

I soon opened my eyes, I was in Dr.Baizhu's doctors office... someone was next to me. He had hair, as blue as the sky and skin as white as snow. I stared at him for what felt like hours, but it was only a couple of minutes.

I decided I was fine, so I got up and left. I went to my locker, and when I opened it, paint poured out of it and onto my uniform. I stood there in shock while students behind me were chuckling. Then, it stopped when the leader of the student council walked through the halls. Everyone knew him. And everyone was scared of him, he could handle any and every situation. Impressive. I had heard of him, but I had never actually seen him. Wait...blue hair? Blue eyes? He was the guy in the doctors office!

He stormed over to the ztudent who had pulled the prank and started scolding them? They were far from laughing now. One of them were on the verge of tears. I mean, Mr. School Council was pretty tall.. and strong...! What am I thinking! Then he came walking over to a paint covered me.

"Are you ok, Xingqiu?" He asked, HE KNEW MY NAME?! OH, GOD OF CONTRACTS! I didn't answer him. I just stared into his eyes, and he stared into mine.

I eventually told him that I was fine - even though I was covered in blue paint.

Then the bell rang, and I panicked. Was I supposed to just walk around covered in blue paint?!
"You can go home and get changed, then come back if you feel uncomfortable walking around like that." He stated.

"Oh! Uh.. Thanks? You know this, but I'm Xingqiu!" I thanked.

"Heheh. I'm Chongyun, cya around Xingqiu." He said, then he walked off.

"Chongyun...Chongyun..Chongyun." I repeated his name over and over. While I walked to the exit, I felt people stare at me throughout the hallway. I hated it.

-TIME SKIP-

I finally got back to school in new clothes. It seemed to be nearly lunch, the bell rang, so I was right. The hallways flooded with students. Everyone headed outside - where I had just come in.

Then i saw a familiar face, Chongyun. As I expected, he was surrounded by...well, everyone. I walked over to where he was, and I was quite small, so I couldn't see him. Then I got grabbed by someone and pulled away. I hit the lockers, and I looked up to see who threw me into the lockers. It was a girl with brown hair and green eyes.

"I'm Yin. Chongyuns girlfriend so back. Off." She shouted. I think Chongyun noticed because he walked over to us. Then I started coughing she had begun choking me!? Chongyun placed his hand on her wrist, and she let go immediately and apologised to HIM. Then she ran off in embarrassment. Then, only me and Chongyun I were left.
"Are you alright?" Chongyun questioned.
"Oh *cough* I-Im fine." I coughed. My neck hurt, I mean, she gripped it pretty hard.
"You have a mark on your neck. Does it hurt?" He asked.
"A bit..." I stated.
Chongyun then held my hand and guided me to...the exit?
"Go home."
"Huh? Why? It's only a mark!" I explained.
"I know, but you could get hurt even more. Today hasn't been the best for you, so come back tomorrow for a better one." Chongyun stated.
"I-I don't wanna go home..." I said on the verge of tears. Chongyun noticed, and his eyes softened.

"Is something wrong...at home?" He said in a more quiet tone.
I barely nodded, and he held my hand again and started walking again. Eventually, we got to an apartment building. It looked very fancy. He walked inside, still holding my hand.

We got to a door, and Chongyun unlocked it. He let me enter first, I'm guessing it was his house! It looked amazing! And so pretty.

"Look around if you want." He spoke. I nodded frantically and started walking around the house. It was beautiful!

Chongyun guided me to a bedroom and said I could sleep there. Chongyun left the room, and so I flopped onto the bed. It felt like a cloud. I soon fell asleep.
