I sat on the lawn of Website Academy, waiting for my good friend, Scratch. He's part cat and artistic, like me, so we have that in common. Well, at least the artistic part. I pulled up the academy's app on my tapplet (an apple plus windows tablet) and checked my homework folder. I saw that from Ms. Camtasia's class that I had a film to complete, and in Mr. Wattpad's class, I still hadn't finished my narrative. So I got to work on the writing while I waited for Scratch. We had to write a story about the virumbie (virus + zombie) apocalypse, which is totally awesome. Mr. Wattpad is all into mythological creatures, and so am I, so I was very excited about the project. Then my eyes were covered in an instant and I couldn't see a thing. I immediately realized they were hands and grabbed the person's wrists. "Ahh, let go!" I squealed. "Not until you say the magic word!" Scratch said.
"Please?"
"Nope."
"Abra cadabra!"
"Nuh-uh."
"#artlife?"
"Finally!" he said, uncovering my eyes. I let go of his wrists and he sat down next to me. Everyone at school thought we were a thing, but we weren't. We were like brother and sister. "So, what's up?" he asked me. "Oh, the usual, homework," I said.
"Well, guess what?"
"What?"
"I have an invitation to Facebook's party with a 50's theme, because I sold some gifs fitting the theme to her and Tumblr. So I just thought, Well, since the invite says 'Bring a Friend'...."
"Omg, seriously! I would love to go!" I said, tackling him with a hug. He laughed and hugged me back. "So, I'll see you there?" he asked. "Absolutely!" I said, running off.
