chapter 1

ricky's pov
I looked at Emma the way she could light up a room with her smile just amazed me

I'm not going to lie I have a little okay huge crush on Emma but I don't want to ruin our friendship I mean I want to be with her but her friendship means more than anything to me

"Ricky earth to Ricky " Emma said tilting her head and looking at me "sorry em whats up " I replied

"I was wondering whether or not I should have my annual sleepover and your the only one I trust enought to make the decision "she said

She looked at me her eyes gazing into mine and her hand finding it's way to mine " will you help me "she asked

" ofcourse I will you know id do anything for you " I said immediately regretting it

"So you'd do anything for me " she asked innocently

I blushed "yeah I would " I replied
"So would you kiss me " she asked and I panicked

We were on cleos bed waiting for her to finish talking with her dad and she could walk in and catch us

But something in me told me to do it and act on my feelings

So I did I leaned in and kissed Emma softly

She kissed me back and when she pulled away I could see her eyes sparkling

"Ricky I  have something to tell u " she said "I do to Emma " I replied

She took my hand in hers and cupped my face gently but before she could speak

We heard cleos footsteps and quickly pulled away .

Cleo opened the door and dramatically felll on the bed groaning "ugh Kim won't wash the dishes for me and I can't do it because I'll grow a fish tail " Cleo said

Emma's POV
"So Cleo what did your dad say about the sleepover" I asked glancing over at Ricky softly

"Of course he said yes " Cleo said smiling

"That's great " ricky said looking at me with a slight sparkle in her eyes barely visible

"So Emma I think you should have your sleepover it would be great to see if we can handle ourselves in that kind of situation " Ricky said turning to face me smiling

I nodded "um will u come help me set up Ricky " I asked gazing into her eyes

Okay  now I may have a crush on  Ricky I mean she's so cute and she makes me feel so happy

"Of course I will " she said turning to face the mirror and do her hair

"What about me " Cleo said putting her face in the pillow

"Don't you have a date with Lewis " I said raising an eyebrow "oh yeah I do bye guys " Cleo said getting up and grabbing her bag

She ran out of the room leaving just me and Ricky

I took Ricky's hand softly making both of us blush "so what were you going to say " I asked her

"Well I really like you Emma but I don't want to ruin our friend ship " Ricky said stuttering

"I really like you to Ricky but I don't know if I'm ready to come out yet " I said shyly

"Me either but I mean we could try and be together in secret " Ricky sugested getting closer

"Sounds like a plan " I said before I was cut of by Ricky kissing me I kissed her softly

"Do u want me to still help you princess " Ricky said smirking holding my hand

"Yeah of course i do baby " I whisper as we both start blushing I lean in and kiss her gently

"We should go to mine " I said taking her hand and walking down the road to my house

Ricky's POV
I'm freaking out right now me and Emma kissed again and confessed our feelings

I looked over at Emma who was sitting on her bed deciding which colour cups to use

I took the cups out of her hands and placed them on the table I then kissed her softly "relax okay em it's going to be fine " I said calming her down

"Thanks baby I really needed that and I think you should choose " she whispered kissing me and locking her door

"Just so we don't have any interruptions" she said softly kissing my forhead

"Go with the multicoloured cups that way everyone will have what colour cups they want now what's next "I say to her softly

" um we still have to pair people up for sleeping bags and put decorations up and make heart shaped ice cubes "Emma said not taking a breath

" okay that's fine we can do this baby okay "I say softly kissing her and taking her hand

" thank u baby "she whispers laying her had in my lap I play with her hair gently before grabbing a pen and paper to pair people together

" so princess obviously me and you are going to be together Cleo and her friend from biology "and it went on like that until we finished and Emma started closing her eyes

" mmh baby I'm tired can we sleep for a bit and then do everything else "she asked rubbing her eyes

I nodded and gently layed her down to sleep I cuddeled with her and kissed her forhead

I closed my eyes and fell asleep with Emma laying in my arms

A loud knock woke me and Emma up " Emma me mum and dad are going out "Eliot shouted from the other side of the door

" that's fine Eliot make sure mom and dad get snacks for my party "Emma shouted back to him

I smiled and kissed her cheek

Elliot groaned and ran downstairs " so baby we better start doing the ice cubes and then decorations "I whispered gently in her ear holding her close

She nodded " yeah let's go downstairs" she said taking my hand and smiling  we went downstairs and Emma grabbed out an ice tray in the shape of hearts

"So after this I was thinking we could go for a swim " Emma said wrapping her arms around me softly
