We all grow up hearing the word different is bad,
But all this does is put pressure on kids and make them sad
To be alive and question why they are the way they are.
Though they never choose to get in this car
And drive away from what is considered to be normal.
It's their job to smile in the face of others and be cordial
When they don't understand this system that wants things the same,
But it's not possible that things can be equal in a world so full of pain.
This word called different should be erased from the vocabulary
Because different isn't wrong it's being brave enough to be extraordinary.
