                                  ASHLEY'S POV

"That's right, Sir!". "It's five bedrooms with ample closet space in each as well as bathrooms in each room for personal use". "There's also a main bathroom for guest's just off the livingroom". "There's a top of the line chef's kitchen and huge common area for gatherings". "There's also a personal gym in the basement for your training sessions in-between competition's, with a locker room for showering after your workouts". "Lastly there's a huge backyard for the dog's and a pool for the kid's".

"And what's the price again?".

"One point five million, Sir".

"And we have how long to decide?".

"We should get an offer in as soon as possible, Sir!". "Otherwise there could be a bidding war which could make it harder to get the best deal".

"One moment, please!".

The man places his hand over the phone muffling his voice, probably so he can talk it over with his wife, leaving me holding my breath in anticipation... If I get this sale, it will be my largest sale to date thus far.

"Miss Bishop!".

"Yes!?".

"We're prepared to offer one point three million and not a penny more".

"Yes, Sir". "I understand". "Let me contact the seller and see if we can put this deal to bed, I'll call you back as soon as I have news".

"We chose you for a reason, Miss Bishop so we look forward to your call".

Hanging up the phone with the, Herman family I get back on the phone with the seller to work my magic and make this sale.

'Now to do what I do best'. 'Make a deal and sell this damn house'.

I've become quite skilled at what I do over these past few month's, not without great struggle though. I had to become pretty crafty in hiding from, Korbin that I am still infact working. I know he is still suspicious of me but he's finally stopped threatening me and my life after that horrific night he pulled the gun on me in our living room, which had prompted me to decide to stear clear of him as much as possible without raising any further suspicion moving forward.

The call took twenty minutes, but I finally got the seller to take the deal after I had pointed out that there were several repairs to the house and the fact that it wasn't fully furnished either. It was clearly not worth what they were asking for the property. But the seller excepted and the house now belongs to the, Herman family with another win under my belt and more money in my secret account. That's what matter's.

Looking up at the clock my stomach drops when I realize, Korbin will be home soon. I lost track of time again trying to get this damn sale finalized. I didn't realize what time it was and now he could grow suspicious of me again if he catches me not at home where he left me this morning.

"Fuck!". "I have to get home before he catches me".

Before leaving the office for the day I call the pizza place which has been my saving grace, like so many times before because at this point I won't have anything made again before he get's home.

Once home I literally have just minutes to take my coat and shoe's off and change before, Korbin is walking in the door behind me.

"What's for dinner, Pet". "I'm starving!".

"I ordered pizza, it should be on it's way shortly". "Wash up and I'll set the table".

He stares at me for a brief moment trying to decide if he should reprimand me for talking back to him in such a brave manner, but instead leaves the room to change and shower not even really acknowledging me beyond that interaction. Finally once gone allowing me the comfort to breath a sigh of relief that he didn't catch me again.
