*Zaraya's POV*
After lunch, I walked back to my locker, putting my English textbook in and another note falling to the floor. What this time? I hear the minute bell ring before sighing. I throw the note into my pocket before grabbing my needed materials before running to class.
*TIME LAPSE TO THE END OF THE DAY - STILL ZARAYA*
I walked out of the school building, walking past all of the other teens outside the school. Multiple kids looked at me, judging me. Probably laughing that I'm wearing a leather jacket - Tucker's. It was comfortable. Warm and cuddly. Like him.
I pop in my headphones, listening to Set It Off, specifically Ancient History. That song's just so addicting. Don't blame me.
I walk down the street, spotting a car wreck a little down the way, police and medical personnel everywhere. I kinda don't want to go that way...I turn suddenly and walk down an alleyway that I knew opened up near my house. I walk slowly, pulling out the note from my pocket.
turn around
I stop walking and slowly turn my head around, seeing nobody. I let out a small sigh before turning around and a hand clamping on my mouth.
*TUCKER'S POV*
I walked out of the doctor's office with a pain in my arm and a pain in my head. I didn't want to go to there. I was perfectly healthy but they still had a reason for me having to come in. This time it was that I needed a new vaccine. Next time it'll probably be something like: 'There's a rabid giant fly flying around and you need 24 shots to make sure you don't die.' I grab my phone and send Zara a text. I don't like leaving her. I wanted to give her a ride home. But guess what. I couldn't. Because I had to go to the motherfucking doctors.
Me>>Zara my love <3 : Hey, just got out
(1 min later) Me>>Zara my love <3 : You home? I want to do something
(6 min later) Me>> Zara my love <3 : I'm worried Zara
Zaraya wasn't texting me back. And that worried me because she always texted me back. No matter what was going on.
She's fine, Tucker. Don't worry about it. She's probably away from her phone. My intuition tells me.
But I can't stop worrying that something's wrong. Shut up, intuition. I drive to the school, noticing Tom and Jordan talking on a bench. "Guys, you see Zara anywhere?"
'Yo, Tucker! I haven't seen her anywhere. I think she said something about going home though. Something about homework."
See, homework, Tucker. She's just trying to focus. Stop worrying.
"Alright, I'll check there." I say, mentally slapping the voice inside my head. I won't stop worrying until I have her in my arms, safe. I drive back down the road, noticing clean-up from an accident. Knowing Zara, she probably went down a side street or something. I pull into a alleyway before noticing a familiar bag in the alley.
Zaraya.
I jump out of the car and pick up the bag, full of Zaraya's books and papers. I hear a beep from the bag, and then a vibrate. I rummage in her bag, finding her phone. I go to walk away before something white catching my eye on the ground.
A paper like the one I received.
turn around
Zaraya...
Where are you?
