Feeling numb as sadness spreads
The terror takes a turn
The gun is loaded, ready, aim,
The beast's complaints are firm.

The innocent juice is tainted
With the impure poison still,
The gun is fired, no escape,
Yet not afraid to kill.

She is justified for once,
With the toxin gone at last.
Bit by bit, she rid herself,
Of memories of past.

From the venom she finally escaped,
Never again to feel its pain.
But she left an ugly scene because
The venom was in her veins.
