(Ben announces his proclamation.)

Beast's comment about Ben being 'just a baby' earned a lot of laughs from both people Ben knew and didn't. Including his Tourney teammates and several, several isle kids who were doing their best to hide the fact that they thought something his dad said was funny. Ben could not have been more embarrassed even if he tried.

Gaston Jr raised an eyebrow at the comment and slowly turned to face Beast. "Uh, dude, didn't you marry Belle when you were 28?"

On second thought, Ben could in fact be more embarrassed-even without trying.

Just great.

Beast didn't reply.

But he didn't need to. The glare Belle and her father threw his way said it all.

Bronze whistled "woooooow, man, you are so gonna be in the dog house for that one. Oh wait this already happened. So... you still sleeping on the couch?"

That gained a couple of chuckles from all around.

Beast shot his fellow heroes a wounded look but none of them met his eye. Kristoff was shaking his head, clearly baffled by his lack of sense, and Flynn was turning red from trying not to laugh. Aladdin was pinching his nose- exasperated- and Eric met his eyes with a shrug, as if to say 'What do you expect me to do about it? You're the one who messed up here, dude'. All the while Philip and Naveen weren't even trying to hide the fact that they were laughing.

(Ben announces his proclamation.)

"Nervous, eh, Ben?" Chad snorted.

"You were more nervous than I was during your first suit fitting!"

"Yeah because I was 6, man, not 16."

"Okay fair point but still."

"Plus it wasn't even your first suit fitting."

"No fair man."

"That poor tailor looks ready to rip his hair out." Gil said a little louder than necessary, causing his brothers to snicker and Harry to grin mischievously as he took off his hat and held it to his chest.

"May God rest his poor little tailor's soul."

"Uh, I'm not dead-"

Uma rolled her eyes, hiding a small smile "can it, you two. You're unbelievable."

"Aww come on Uma, you know you love us."

"Yeah, come on Uma."

"I will neither confirm nor deny those rumors."

That little comment earned several different reactions from the isle kids.

"Yeah, we pretty much were abandoned."

"Ramonda's dad is alive yet Harriet is raising her-"

"We don't need your pity, princey."

"We are perfectly capable of taking care of ourselves!"

"I wasn't even born on the isle, I was thrown there when I was 6 because of my aunt's evil plots that she dragged me and my cousin into-"
