"Breaking News!! Reports just in on famous singer Hwang Hyunjin from kpop group Stray Kids has been involved in a critical car accident, the idol being struck by an out of control car and sent close to 10 metres into a busy road and onto a car windshield. In the result of this accident, Mr Hwang Hyunjin has been rushed to hospital with major head injuries and multiple broken bones throughout his body. The driver of the vehicle was-"

'Click!'

The tv came to an abrupt stop, with Felix tossing the remote asside. Tears streamed down the males face as he collapsed onto his living room floor. He tugged at his hair whilst screaming a heart recking cry, his emotions flowing out of him like a flooded river.

= a few minutes prior =

"Pleeassee Jinnie!! You don't have you stay for long! I'm just soo lonely here." Felix pleaded over the phone, giggling slightly. A loud sigh was heard from the other end. "Fine, I'll come over if you want me to so badly." It was Hyunjin the Australian was talking to.

"Thanks Jinnie! Make sure you get some buldak noodles on your way here, I'm craving them."

Another sigh was heard along with a door locking and keys jingling. "Anything else your majesty?" He said sarcastically.

"Im also craving some chocolate... Can you get me some?"

"Yes Yongbokie I'll get you chocolate. I'm not far from the convenience store." Hyunjin had a big grin plastered on his face as he spoke with the blond. A sudden screeching noise was heard, very close to him by the sounds of it. As he looked up, a speeding car was flying down the roads.

"Hyun? Are you still there?"

"Yeah I am.." He replied looking back down at his phone. "Anyways what were you saying?" Tires screeching once again were heard, closer this time and a loud horn beeping. Before Hyunjin could rejester what was happening, he was met with an agonising pain in his side.

"Hyunjin!! Hyunjin! Are you okay?!" The Australian paused, awaiting an answer to which there was no avail, besides from screeching noises and a loud crash. "Why won't you answer? Hyun you're scaring me- Please respond!" Felix's heart began to drop as the noises finally came to an abrupt stop with faint talking in the distance.

A few minutes passed as he hopelessly called out for an answer. To him, it felt like hours until a sudden a shaken voice replied. "H-hello? Is someone there?" The unknown voice spoke.

The deep, croaking voice made Felix's heart drop even further into his stomach. "Yeah, who's this..?" He struggled to reply with a lump stuck in his throat

"I-I'm really sorry but um.. I think your friend has been in an accident.. A car came out of no where and hit him. I'm so sorry, I've called the a-ambulance they will be here soon.." The voice spoke, fumbling over a few of his words.

Tears welled up in Felix's eyes as his heart shattered into millions of pieces. "O-oh.. Thank you.." He said being unsure of how to respond whist he chocked on sobs. He hung up the phone and immediately ran downstairs to turn his tv on.

= current time =

Felix began to curl himself into a ball, hugging his knees for comfort, as he continued to sob over the incident of his best friend. He couldn't help but blame himself for what had just happened. Maybe if he didn't ask him to come over, he would be okay. Or even if he waited for another few minutes to ask, Hyunjin wouldn't have been in the accident.

The Australian cursed at himself in english, hitting his head and scratching at any bare skin he could find. He continued to do these things when his apartment door suddenly slammed opened. Felix didn't spare to take a glance, as he continued to curse at himself and scratch his now red skin.
