The sound of the gushing wind and the tapping of waters was all Alex heard. It was raining and all she had in mind was that she will die, these monsters will feast on her blood, the life-giving essence that makes her human. "Please don't come near me. Please don't kill me. I will not say anything, I swear." she said to them as she backed away from them, her back hitting the cold wall.
Vincent looked at her lovingly and said something at the soldier nearest to him and they darted towards the door with Michelle who was very pissed with her. Suddenly, he moved placidly towards Alex. He picked up her wounded arm and started putting down his mouth to her arms. Alex tried hard getting her arm away from him. Oh gosh, he's going to bite her she thought. She closed her eyes while waiting for the pain but nothing came. All she felt was the coolness of his lips on her skin and with that her wound was healed. "I could heal you. That's one of the many powers we, the royals have." He said to her proudly. He helped her stand and backed her against the wall. "The first time I saw you, I already knew that you are my mate." he started "I could feel the throbbing of your veins, the scent of your delicious blood, all telling me to mark you now." Vincent slowly pulled her to him and bent down to kiss her. She felt the sparks fly the moment his lips touched hers and they shared an endless kiss that seems to take her breath away.
He released her from the trance as he ended the kiss. He smirked at her letting her see the sexiest grin she ever saw and said "You Miss Porter have the most irresistable lips I ever tasted and that was the sweetest kiss I ever had." She was still grasping his words when one of the soldiers came back looking for Vincent. "Your highness we have a situation".
