As Xuyen stood beside his brother Liang, surrounded by the glitz and glamour of the gala, he couldn't shake the feeling of being out of place amidst the elite of society. His nerves were already frayed, but they reached a whole new level of jitteriness when he felt the weight of Zhang Yifan's gaze upon him.

Despite his best efforts to avoid eye contact, Xuyen couldn't help but steal furtive glances in the film emperor's direction, his heart racing at the thought of their previous encounters. Xuyen could feel his cheeks burning as he struggled to find the words to respond, his tongue tied in knots as he fidgeted nervously under Zhang Yifan's intense scrutiny. He was acutely aware of the film emperor's flirtatious demeanor, yet he remained oblivious to the true extent of Zhang Yifan's intentions.

Liang, however, seemed to sense the underlying tension between the two men, a knowing smirk tugging at the corners of his lips as he observed their interaction. With a subtle nod of encouragement, he discreetly urged Xuyen to engage with Zhang Yifan, knowing full well the potential for a blossoming romance.

But as the night wore on and the music swirled around them, Xuyen remained steadfast in his innocence, unaware of the delicate dance of flirtation unfolding before his very eyes.
