Sky was curled up in her bed after yet another arguement with her father, the six eared Macaque. He'd always been overprotective of her, but tonight he'd definitely taken it to the next level. Sure, she could get in trouble, but that was no reason to keep her from going to the city and hanging out with her friends. Which was exactly what he'd done that night."And that's final, Sky! You're not going to the city until I say otherwise." Macaque had scolded. "Because obviously I can't trust you not to get in trouble when you're out. You almost burned down the library! You know how much that's gunna cost me?"
"I didn't do it on purpose!" She'd complained. "That's so not fair. You can't blame me for something I didn't even do on purpose. It wasn't my fault anyways. Ty said we should go hang out near there." She said, referring to the Dragon Kings son, Tyler, also known as Ty.
"That's no excuse." He'd replied. "I don't care what the excuses are, you knew better. So until I say otherwise. You're not going anywhere without me or a shadow clone to watch you and that's final." He'd sent her to her room and hadn't left any room for arguement.
So now she was confined to her room for who knew how long. She hated being confined to any space, and she hated being told what to do even less. She sat up in bed and looked out the window of Macaque's dojo dejectedly. She knew she shouldn't have gone along with it, but cmon. Everyone was allowed some fun right? Even if it wasn't the best idea?
She knew there was no point in sneaking out. Her father was called Six eared Macaque for a reason. Any little move she made out of line, he'd hear it. There was point worsening her punishment. Instead, she tugged her cell phone out of her pocket and texted Ty. He owed her for this one.
"Hey, Ty, you up?" She texted, hoping her friend was up and awake to see her message.
"Yeah, what's up? I'm sorry you got in trouble." Came his reply.
"I didn't just get in trouble, dads grounded me from the city for who knows how long. You owe me one Ty!" She responded, narrowing her eyes.
"I know I know, what do you want to do? It's not like you can sneak out."
"Yeah thanks for stating the obvious! Listen, tomorrow when Dad goes to do his acting show, we're going to sneak out and go out to the city to discuss with Redsun what to do about LBD."
"Sounds good. See you tmr. I know I owe you one."
She smirked as she shut her phone off. Her dad may have been good at the whole grounding game, but she was better at it. He couldn't keep her hidden and locked away for long! She dared not giggle, but the smile on her face as she laid down was more then enough to show how proud she was of her greatest idea.
