They arrived at Sunoo's house, and Jake stepped out of the car along with Sunoo and his parents. Jake held onto Sunoo, their embrace conveying a mix of gratitude and affection.
"Thank you for trusting me," Jake whispered softly.
Sunoo smiled, his eyes reflecting the depth of his emotions. "No, Jake, thank you for taking me," he replied, returning the hug with equal warmth.
As Sunoo and his parents headed towards their front door, Jake watched them go, feeling a sense of longing already creeping in. Sunoo glanced back at him before disappearing inside, mouthing the words "I love you" to Jake.
Jake stood there for a moment, his heart heavy with the weight of their separation. But his mother's gentle voice brought him back to reality.
"Let's go now, Jake, shall we?" she asked, her eyes filled with understanding.
With a nod, Jake took one last look at Sunoo's house before turning away, determination burning in his gaze. He was ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, as long as it meant finding his way back to Sunoo.
