"Henry, come down here and eat your lunch," Henry's mom said. Henry was an 11-year-old boy who lived in a small house in Bali. He has had a passion for the ocean since he was a child. He loved the sea and the creatures that roamed it. When he came downstairs to eat his lunch, he saw that his lunch was a fish so he refused to eat it. His mother was confused. Henry's mom said, "Why do you not want to eat the fish?" Henry answered "I love the ocean and the creatures in it. I will never eat fish ever." His mother couldn't bother to convince him to eat his lunch so she made him chicken instead.

When Henry went upstairs, he grabbed his paper and colored pencils and started drawing the ocean. He always had a hobby of drawing the ocean. He also dreamt that he could be a part of the ocean along with the fishes and other sea creatures. He finished drawing and stuck the drawing on his wall. He went to take a nap so he jumped on his bed and tucked himself in his blanket. When he fell asleep, he started dreaming. He dreamt that he was in the ocean swimming peacefully with all the fish. But suddenly, trash started appearing and sinking into the ocean. The ocean became a brownish color. The fish that Henry swam with was caught in a fishing net. Henry was also then caught in a fishing net and brought upwards to the surface. That is when he woke up.

He woke up with a shock. He thought all of that was real. He was glad it wasn't. The nightmare made him worried. "What if the ocean really does have that much trash in it?" he thought to himself. But then he said out loud, "Naaaah that's not possible". He did not think much about it, so Henry went downstairs and watched the news. The news talked about how much trash is in the ocean at this very moment. He was shocked to see that so much trash had been dumped in the ocean. The news also added that this trash pollution makes multiple marine species near extinct.

Henry got ready for school. He went in his car and his mother drove him there. He was planning to tell his friends all about what he saw on the TV. When he arrived at school, he looked around for his friends Joey and Mikey to tell them all about the ridiculous amount of trash in the ocean. Joey and Mikey didn't care about what Henry said. Henry was disappointed and annoyed but didn't think much about it and went back to class. In science class, Henry was surprised to hear the teacher explaining about the amount of trash in the ocean and how it kills many marine species.

The next day, Henry and his mother plan on going to the beach. Henry is excited because he hasn't visited the beach in a long time. When they arrive, Henry is shocked to see the amount of trash thrown irresponsibly. Piles of plastic with flies flying all over them and covered with a horrible stench that blocks up his nostrils. He is sad to see so many people be so careless with their trash. His mother tries to comfort him by telling him they will go to another beach. Henry agrees and they try to find another beach. When Henry got in the car, he started thinking, "What can I do to clean that beach?" he thought. When they arrive at the other beach, he loads more trash. Even more than the previous beach.

He got more annoyed by the amount of trash that people throw. He said to his mother, "Mother, I am tired of seeing all of this trash on the beach. Why are people this careless? I just want to have a good time on the beach." His mother replied, "There's really nothing we can do, honey." Henry confidently says, "Fine, if nobody is going to clean the beach, then I will do it myself. Will you help me, mother?" His mother proudly replied, "I would be honored to".
