My body tingled all over but my breathing was shallow and slow, am I dead? "Dawn, wake up!" A voice shouted shaking me furiously. I placed my hands over my eyelids wiping them off before opening my eyes, the sudden light blinded me for a short period. I was in the nurse's office laying on a stiff white bed with Akira hovering above me with confusion written on her face. Everything looked normal, no ash in site "The school didn't burn down?" My voice was at a whisper, Akira laughed.

"What?" I growled propping myself up with my elbows.

"You fainted and a guy carried you here."

"But the fire..."

"What fire?" Akira sounded annoyed that I kept bringing up an "imaginary" fire, was Michael imaginary too? Slowly I realized she was still waiting for an answer "Well?" Her tone was dry, quickly I shrugged it off as nothing. Akira grabbed her things and left the room but the door didn't shut, Michael stood there smiling that smile in the fire came to my mind. He strolled in letting the door click shut behind him as he stopped at the foot of my bed he glanced me over. Chills shot through every inch of my body "Enjoy your nap babe?" Michael smirked sitting down at my feet.

He never broke our eye contact "What happened?" I asked suspiciously breaking a smile across his face. "You fainted once I came in and no one was around so I carried you to the nurse." The hairs on the back of my neck stood up while I just stared that smile matched my "dream". I thought about their stories, than mine, there's were normal while mine had insanity written all over it in bold print. Finally after thinking it over I blew the whole incident as a dream "When can I leave?" I asked him who was now smirking out the window. He looked over at me and we just gazed at each other "When you have a ride." His voice danced through my ears.

Suddenly it hit me, Akira, my ride left already so either I'd have to walk or...no. My only option was to ask Michael for a ride but he began to leave, I bit my tongue I wasn't asking him. Michael's hand began to turn the door knob releasing panick in my body "Wait!" I called jumping up and grabbing his sleeve. He glanced over his shoulder at me "Need a ride?" A devious smile formed suddenly I regretted nodding. I moved aside so he could open the door and he kindly motioned out before him.

We walked through the empty halls silent but before long I felt like I was all alone even though Michael was right beside me. The feeling of loneliness grew quickly so instinctively I picked up my pace, a dark laugh came from behind me startling me to fall. I hit the floor with a loud crash "Ow..." I groaned stumbling up deoriented when suddenly I was shoved onto the row of lockers. Slowly I looked up to see Michael's face centimeters away from mine; my breathing hitched. A smirk formed "I tripped." He said cooly heating up my body when his breath brushed along my neck.

Michael didn't move he stood there then began to use his leg pressing me harder onto the locker. "You're so..." He leaned in close to my ear "vulnerable." What the hell was he talking about? I shuddered feeling his smirk burn into my skin until something wet grazed over my collar bone, oh my it's his tongue I screamed in my mind. I made a quick attempt to push him off but before I even could move he caught my wrists pinning them over my head "Michael?.." I whispered barely breathing. "Too vulnerable." Michael laughed getting off me and walking to the schools exit.

I stood there bewildered that I could still feel his warm body on mine "You coming babe? I don't have all day." He winked smirking. My face turned red but I tried hiding it as I walked out to the student parking lot with him "So where's your car?" I asked glancing across the lot. My stomach plummeted when his finger pointed to a pure black Harley Davidson "Oh no." I groaned putting my pale face into my clammy hand. "Oh yes." He laughed jingling the keys at me; he swung his leg over sitting on the bike starting it up. The motor raged sending my heart into my throat "I am not getting on that, that death on wheels!" I laughed nervously.

"Why babe?" He smirked turning the bike off.

"Why do you call me babe?" I asked annoyed.

"Don't change the subject."

"I didn't."

"Are you riding or not?"

"Not."

"Why?"

"That's not safe, I don't even know you!"

"First thing I'll let you wear my helmet and second, I'm Michael."

"Ugh! I know you're Michael but that's it!"

"Well I only know your name's Misty."

"No it's not, I'm Dawn!"

"Babe, get on the bike." Michael's voice was cold.

"No." I growled back.

"Didn't think I'd have to do this" he paused and sighed coming close to me "get on the bike." He ordered now in my face. His eyes were dark oh shit...this isn't good I thought biting my lip. Michael sat back down watching me as I swung my leg over and used his jacket to pull myself the rest of the way on. He began to pull on his helmet and I had the urge to say I was going to wear it don't you dare a harsh voice growled in my mind. My blood froze "Hold on tight." Michael's mumbled but my mind didn't comprehend it fast enough.
The bike shot up throwing me off balance and suddenly my arms were around his waist gripping the front of his shirt.

I buried my face between his shoulder blades "Slow down!" I cried out into his back, almost instantly we slowed down letting me relax. I leaned back away from Michael when I turned red I was almost on top of him "Look." He motioned ahead. A deer quietly stood eating at the grass until Michael made the engine growl scaring it away. I gasped shocked but we began to move again "Where do you live?" He shouted, my mind spaced out. That's right he was taking me home "Stella!" I answered, I barely heard him chuckle why was he laughing?

The air was getting colder creeping into my clothes causing shivers; I hugged Michael's back when we came to a stop. Confusion sprouted in me as he got up and faced me "What is it?" I crossed my arms hoping to keep warm; he didn't answer all he did was wrap his jacket around me. "Wear it so you don't get cold." He said sweetly I stared in pure shock maybe he could be nice. "Thanks..." I said slowly "I'll need it back." He growled getting on and driving me to my house, never mind I thought he is just cold.
He parked in my drive way then helped me off, as I got off I gazed at him for a moment; oh the jacket.

Relaxing my shoulders it slipped down to my elbows before I slid it off and swung it at him. "I changed my mind babe, keep it." He wrapped it around me again "It looks good on you." He took my hand and kissed the top. My face flushed red when I raced to my porch and shut the door sinking to the floor with butterflies in my stomach. My younger sister poked her head out of the living room "What brat." I glared walking into the kitchen, Megan followed. Suddenly she yanked the jacket off my shoulders "Who was that Dawn!"

"None of your damn business!"

"Ooo! You cursed, I'm telling mom!"

"I dare you now give me the jacket." I shouted going to grab the sleeve.
"Hey mom! Dawn has a boyfriend!" Megan screamed I smiled looking at her "RUN BRAT!" I screamed coming at her. She raced off dropping the jacket on the sofa so swiftly I grabbed it and dashed up into my room. Tears filled my eyes but I wiped them away looking out my window, a full moon was perfectly positioned in it. A weird feeling like the fire and the hallway with Michael came over me.

Without thinking I pulled my curtains shut before sitting on my bed when I realized Michael's jacket had become a blanket for my legs. I pulled it to me it smells like old spice I thought smiling as I hugged it. Soon I felt myself getting sleepy and found myself thinking about Michael instantly when I shut my eyes I went into the dream world.
