Hi everyone! Sorry for not updating this for tlso long but I'm running out of ideas for my stories, I mean Idk why, I had planned many things but Idk how to connect them with what I have now...

I started feeling alive again. I moved my fingers and opened my eyes. Everything started getting clearer, as I saw Eva by my side, waiting.
"You're awake, I see"
"Yeah... Where are we?"
"At my home. You passed out and I brought you here"
"My parents must be worried..."
"Don't worry, I told my dad to call your parents and tell them you'd have a sleepover with me. It's already midnight..."
"OK, they're not too strict, so I guess they'll be fine with that..."
I looked at her, and then I started thinking. Her father? How could her father know my parents? In Technopolis, we had this things called 'device codes' which we used to communicate with other people in there. But I didn't know where her parents took that from...
But instead of asking her, I just stayed staring at her.
I tried to stand up, who knows why.
"You need to rest, Gene" she said.
"It's not that bad, I can handle it" I replied.
Great at first, but I fell on top of Eva...
"Sorry... are you okay?" I asked as I got up
"Yeah, no worries. I actually think it's better if you stay here for the night..."
I nodded and she helped me laying down. She was kind, she was confident, she was... perfect.
She looked at me with a tender expression, and I melted.
"You should get some sleep" she said.
I accepted and closed my eyes, thinking of her.

In the morning, she was waiting for me to wake up, next to me.
I don't know why, but I grabbed her hand and squeezed it softly. She chuckled a bit, what made me realize what I was doing, so I retired my own hand from hers.
"How cute, Gene!" She let out a soft laugh and continued looking at me.

The day went great, and the next months too, until we reached the week of the exams.
That day we had Physics test, and I hadn't studied anything, so I was so nervous that I couldn't concentrate on the exam.
I looked a couple of times to Eva's tablet, but I couldn't read anything.
I decided that next time I would study more, so I sent my test to the teacher and went out.
I didn't know why, but I had a bad feeling that day. My instinct told me that something was not OK.
'Did I do the test so bad?' I thought.

Lenny was waiting for me at the door.
"Where are my parents, Lenny?"
He didn't answer.
"Lenny?"
