My Demon

Chapter 3

Guwon is slowly moving the head to Sebastian and they are communicating with their eyes. Bokgyu doesn't like the facial expressions of these two and asks:

"What's so special about the red eyes? Your eyes are always red while hunting for souls."

"Well", Guwon begins, "it's not normal to loose his mind while doing the hunting but it happend and we can only think of only one thing what that could mean for me." He looks again at Sebastian and he speaks next:

"It means ones powers are getting stronger, but before you say it's something good let me tell you something. The more powerful a demon is the more difficult it is to suppress the killing instinct, especially the instinct to kill humans.."

Bokgyu is shocked, "what do you mean 'the instinct to kill humans'? And why do you need to 'suppress' it? Were you suppressing it the whole time, to protect our friendship?"

"We are not friends, not with you filthy humans", Guwon grumbles, "I don't need friends and especially not lowly humans..".

Sebastian and I are looking at each other with amusment 'sure, he doesn't need friends' is left unspoken between us.

"Sooo, what happens now?"

"Well for starters I have to control my apparently new strenght and you have to go." Guwon looks serious in Bokgyu's eyes, "It's to dangerous for you to be at my side.".

"Suure, I'm not going anywhere!"

"Go!"

"No! You can't make me.", Bokgyu looks jubilant.

"Take him home and make sure he is safe, Sebastian!"

"Yes Sir!"

"I'm not a kid! You can't just lock me up in my house and let Sebastian guard me!"

"You are a kid, at least in my eyes."

"What ?", Bokgyu asks,
