I could feel my skin burning because of the coffee which I spilt on myself after bumping into someone. It was hot, I could feel it penetrate down my Pink Floyd muscle tee onto my skin. I looked up, wanting to know who I had ran into. I found my self gasp as I saw a tall figure stand infront me. His dark hair stood up, his eyes covered with Raybans. He had an aura of mystery around him. Something which was a weakness of mine. For that friction of a second, my world had stopped spinning to think about it, I don't know why that happened because quite frankly, this was a new feeling. One I wasn't used to having at all. I recognized this guy from somewhere, just couldn't recall from where.
"Are you okay?" He asked frantically
"Except my skin burning… I'm fine!" I replied sarcastically.
"I'm so sorry!" he said, still panicking. I could see from his face he was intimidated.
"I was kidding, no worries." i told him, so he would stop panicing.
"Can i take you to the hospital?" he asked, trying to figure out what to say.
I let out a laugh. I found it amusing how he was panicking. "No, it's not that bad. I'll just go home and change my shirt."
"Can i give you a ride back home?" He asked, I could see guilt all over his face.
"That wouldn't be such a bad idea. I could use a ride."
He led out a small laugh, i could see his pearly whites shine from behind his pink lips. "I'll just get my car, it's parked around the corner."
He made his way to the corner at which Starbucks was located at. i stood there, pulling my shirt away from my skin. I looked down and realised i had got coffee on my brand new Jimmy Choo's. As I put my head up thinking of ways to clean them, I saw a black Bentley convertible pull up in front of me. The tinted mirrors were rolled down as I saw that mysterious guy's face. "Hop in" I found myself approaching that car. The sunlight reflected it's shiny new paint, and it's rim's was merely what made that car look one of the most elegant car's I had seen. And from the 16 years i've lived, I've seen plenty of cars considering my uncle was a car dealer.
The car ride was silent. He asked me a few questions about me, but mostly there was awkward silence filling the car. I was giving him directions to my flat which was just a few blocks away.
"Is that it?" He asked, pointing to my apartment. I was so lost in thought, I didn't even realize we were there. "Yeah" I smiled. "Thanks for the ride". "Pleasure was al mine." He put on a cheecky smiled. "And sorry about the coffee" He apologized. I let out a laugh. "Actually to think about it, I'm glad I ran into you, you seem like a nice girl" I couldn't believe his words. I don't know what surprised me more, the fact that he was happy he dropped coffee on me? Or the fact that he called me 'nice'?
I got out of his car and shut the door behind me and headed into my apartment. As i was walking I heard him call out, "Can I have your name?"
I looked back. I knew at that moment I had a huge grin plastered on my face. I shouted back, "You know where I live, isn't that enough?" I said, trying to play hard to get.
