[Natasha's POV, First person]

-Previously at 7:26 am-

"Ughh so bored." Groaning, I lean my head back against the wall. Why did my parents bring me to school soo early? School starts at 7:50, like okay, I get you both are teachers and have to settle in before class starts and all, but couldn't I just rest for a little longer? Being here 30 minutes early is crazy, there's literally no one here in the gym. Besides these new freshmen kids, ew.

But seriously though, who even gets here this early at school? Ugh, whatevs. In the meantime, maybe I'll consider befriending these new freshmen. They'll probably need it, anyway.

"Heyy!! How's first day of school going?" Waving and plastering a smile on my face, showing friendliness as I approached them.

Two short freshmen kids look back at me, giving a small smile. A hot-pink-braided hair girl replies, "Oh hey! Honestly not so bad." She places her phone back in her jeans back pocket, looking back at her friend beside her. The other girl with wavy white-blonde hair sips from her Stanley cup before answering, "It's alright, still a little nervous."

"I get it, freshmen year is scary." I nod in agreement, gesturing my hand. "New people and new school. But hey, once you start getting to know everyone and everything, you'll get used to it." I reassure the blond-haired girl. She just smiles and nods.

Just in time, my friend Liv had saved us from the awkward silence filling the atmosphere. She wraps her arm around my shoulder with a tight tug.
"Boo."

I look back at her with a gasp and wrap my arms around her, feeling her curly maroon hair tickling my face.

"Omg Liv!! Finally you're here!!" My hug tightened around her back as I exclaimed.

Liv lets out a small grunt and laughs nervously, "Hahah.. Okay, okay. You can let go."

Giggling, I release the embrace and look back at the two female freshmen who are looking at us like crazy. "Oh! Right, I almost forgot." I straightened my posture.

Placing a hand on Liv's shoulder, I introduced them to her. "So, Liv, while you were gone. I've decided to welcome a couple freshmen."

Her hazel eyes darting at the girls in front of us, she gives them a warm smile, "Oh! Heyy, nice to meet you two!"

The two freshmen wave shyly at Liv, mouthing the word "hi".

For a while, we all started getting along really well surprisingly. We shared lots of common things.

Huh, maybe these freshmen kids aren't so bad after all.

Later in our conversation, we found out their names are Gia (pink haired girl) and Ellie (blonde haired girl)

We agreed to follow each other on social media just to keep in touch. Probably should've exchanged phone numbers too, but social media is so much easier and better.

We were in the middle of having a couple laughs on watching funny videos, until they had to leave early for their early pep rally thing for freshmen today.
