"Oh but Ciel, please?" I asked, tugging on his arm.
"You know i hate that Trancy bitch."
"Ciel! Stop! He's my friend! And i'll keep him out of trouble! I'll even let you pick out my costume!" I begged.
"Hmph. I don't understand why your friends with him! And let Sebastian do it!" He said, annoyed.
"Oh thank you thank you thank you!" I yelled, pulling him into a hug.
"Sebastian." Ciel said through gritted teeth. I quickly let go of him and ran off to give Alois his invitation to Ciel's Halloween Ball.

Ever since i met Alois, we had become great friends. Of course it's only been a week, but ever since Ciel has been cold-shouldering me, i've become friends with everyone else. Alois, Finny, Bard, Mey-rin, i've even gotten closer to Sebastian.

"My lady, Mind if i tag along?" Sebastian asked, smirking.
"Oh, um, sure?" I answered, letting him help me into the carriage.
"I just need to grab a few things in town after you go meet your 'friend'." He explained, stepping in.
"Oh. Okay!" I replied, giving him a bright smile.

After my successful meeting with Alois, i had to go and help Sebastian with his errends.
"Stay here, this will only take a minute." Sebastian said.
I nodded and waited. About five minutes later, he came back with a box.
"What did ya get?" I asked. He smiled at me.
"Ciel told me to get your Halloween Ball costume, so i did." He smirked.
"Y-you w-wha?" I stuttered, blushing.

~MINUTES BEFORE LE BALL~

"Oh, Sebastian, what is this?" I said, looking at myself. I was wearing a knee length black dress, stockings with cats on them, and a pair of shoes that looked like they had paw prints on them.
I heard a knock on the door, and without thinking, i called out, "Come in!"
Sebastian walked in and walked right over to me, black face paint in his hand. He instantly started drawing whiskers and a cat nose on my face.
"Sebastian, your really cool, but i don't wanna get caught up in your cat fetish." I replied.
He chuckled, and went over to the box that had earlier held my costume. He pulled out a pair of black cat ears and a black tail. He clipped the tail to the back of my dress and put the ears on my head.
"There you go, my lady." He said, adjusting my dress.
"Yeah.... Sure?"

I walked past him and down the stairs. I stopped to look around at all the costumes. They were all beautiful! I saw Ciel, also dressed as a cat (Oh my all dat creativity, huh?), in one corner, just sipping away at his drink. I made a mental note to go talk to him.
My mind wandered and i looked around. Lizzy would love this. Lizzy....
I felt myself falling into a pit of emotions until a certain voice called out to me.
"(y/n)!" Alois called. I smiled and waved.
"Oh Alois!" I called back, hugging him. He was dressed up as... mini devil?
We chatted for a bit, until i looked over and noticed Ciel sheepishly stirring his drink.
"Alois, i talk to you later." I told him and patted his shoulder.

I walked over to Ciel and leaned against the wall next to him.
"I see Sebastian talked you into his creepy cat fetish too." He said in a very monotone voice.
"Yup." I said, looking over at him.
"Ciel, do you really not remember? Anything?" I asked him. He looked at me in surprise.
"What in bloodly hell are you talking about?" He asked.
The song Sebastian was playing that day we kissed started playing and i looked over at Ciel.
"(y/n)? Hello?" He asked, waving a hand in front of my face.
"Ciel. Dance with me. Now." I ordered. He looked at me like i just commited a crime.
"Ciel, i know you can't dance. Just follow my steps." I told him and took his hand. He practicly threw his drink to Bard.

Ciel stumbled along with my movements, but soon got the hang of it. I looked up at him and smiled. He just looked away with that same bored expression. I giggled and layed my head on his chest. He seemed surprised and embarrassed at first but just went along with it.

After the song, Ciel dragged me to where Sebastian stood next to Alois, watching him for me.
"These are your 'love intrest', Not me! Don't pull that kind of shit again!" He said, then pushed me towards Alois.
"Ciel!" I called to him but Alois beat me to it.
"That is NO way to treat a lady!" Alois yelled at him.
"Alois. Stop." I told him, glaring at Ciel. "Im staying at Alois' tonight." said, dragging an angered Alois out the door, not looking back.
