It wasn't long before rhory saw the lights from a car outside and a text came through his phone.carly
im here.
Rhory was relieved when he looked at his phone, he pulled himself off of the ground, grunting at the pain before slowly walking out his bedroom, grimacing at the sting of class in his feet.
He closed the door behind him so ladybug couldnt get out before he walked quietly back down the stairs, careful not to step on any glass when he got to the bottom. When he looked into the kitchen, the smell of vodko hitting his nose, he saw his father laid passed out on the floor.
Rhory walked towards the front door before opening it, not bothering to put his shoes on. He walked barefoot to Carlisle's car, opening the passenger door and sitting slowly.
Carlisle didnt ask anything as he got in, noticing the blood seeping through the brunettes shirt, instead he started the car and drove away.
Rhory leaned his head against the widow, his eyes tearing up as he watched the trees go by.
When the two arrived at the hospital, rhory got out of the car slowly before following Carlisle into the building and into an empty room. He sat on one of the beds before taking his shirt off, grimacing a the shard of glass in is side, not baring to look Carlisle in the eye.
"Are you going to tell me what happened." he asked, sticking a needle into rhorys side to numb the pain before he got to removing the glass. "Its nothing..' wincing at the pain "i cannot pretend this isnt serious this time."
"yes you can" rhory looked up at Carlisle, "he's all i have, there's nowhere else for me to go" he argued "please" Carlisle paused before looking rhory in the eye "im sorry rhory but this is not safe." rhory looked away from the man, "i will find somewhere for you to go" rhory scoffed at his words "ah yes, burden others with the problems of rhory bennet" he looked at carlisle with a glare.
The two were quiet after that, carlisle had stitched him up and pulled the shards of glass out of his feet, other than that and a few scratches, rhory was doing okay. Carlisle was making him stay in the hospital for now, until he had somewhere he could go.
Laying in the hospital bed brought back memories he wasnt really fond of, memories of his past overdoses and injury's flooded into his brain and he frowned, hoping the drugs would kick in sooner so he could go to sleep. After eating loads of chocolate pudding an switching between TV channels, rhory finally drifted off to sleep, dreaming of a pretty blonde boy.
When rhory woke the next morning, he was no longer in any brutal pain, just sore.
After eating his breakfast and showering as best as he could, carlisle came back, this time, the cheif of police, charlie swan was with him.
Rhory looked at carlisle annoyed "im not talking to the police about it" carlisle smiled at the boy, before shaking his head "youll be staying with mr swan and his daughter, for now." rhorys eyes widened before he looked between the two "me? with the cheif of police? i mean no offence but i dont have a very good track record with the law carly" carlisle rolled his eyes at rhorys dramatics.
"It's okay kid" said Charlie as he stood off to the side "we won't hold it against ya' " rhory smiled him awkwardly before giving a look towards the smirking Carlisle, who obviously knew what he was doing when placing a drug addict with a police officer.
