Just then an alarm went off, jerking everyone else awake.
The redhead was the last to wake up. She lay passed out in the sofa nearest to the TV, and the when the alarm blasted once more, she jerked out of her little haven and peered around with wide eyes.
"W-what's going on?" She sat up in a daze, still not comprehending what was going on. "Hang on. This is NOT the partying club I was at. This is way too fancy!" She exclaimed, peering to the intricately designed glass serving counter and the drinks that lay in stock.
The other had already come to and almost half of them seemed very interested in the door, or rather, how to break it.
The people just stood there quite awkwardly, since they were apparently all passed out and never got to introduce themselves, and no one seemed keen on opening their mouths first.
No one could blame them.
In these situations, you would want to assess the situation and size up potential friends or enemies, and you have to be prepared.
The tension was so thick you couldn't cut it with a guillotine. Yeah, that guillotine that almost replaced the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.
Eventually the tension subsided just enough for the people to move around to different corners of the room and settle down, or, still trying break the door using all means.
There were no weapons they could use that was within reach, however. All the knives and guns were strapped to the ceiling. Including that darn key.
A blonde got up from her seat on the sofa and was about to open her mouth to speak when a loudspeaker from somewhere started to speak.
Only it wasn't from the loudspeaker. It was the TV speaking. Someone had accidentally turned it on.
"Welcome to the FunHouse, where you will be provided premium and exclusive entertainment based on your choices! As you can see, you are situated in a very luxurious apartment as of right now. It is all part of of our service, and you need not pay money for it! All we need from you is something that is the same colour as the carpet! We hope you enjoy your stay here, and remember to have fun!
Now to the serious business:
As you can see, there are twelve of you here. And on the service counter, each person is given a set of glass drinking cups for different kinds of alcohol. A shot glass, a wine glass, a beer cup, and a regular glass cup you can use to fill any drink of your choice. I hope you are still listening, by the way.
The service counter and everything else in this room is up to self service, so you can help yourselves to anything in the room. However, any lasting or irreversible damage to the facilities will result in having to go through a round in a game to compensate for clean up, or you could get eliminated. It is up to the Wheel to decide.
The room here is the commons area. When the bell rings, everyone must gather in the commons area immediately for a meeting, and remember to turn on the TV."
12 wooden doors suddenly came into view and each door had a plaque with the person's name on it.
The TV continued," when this broadcast ends, you may proceed to your room to rest or do what you like. Next meeting here is in 16 hours. Till then, you may make yourselves comfortable."

The TV then went blank.
The blonde turned to everyone.
"Well, shall I start first?"
