"JUMP. COME ON IVY, jump. You're worth nothing anyway." that's what this voice keep telling Ivory for ten minutes. Telling her to jump off this giant rock, this rock is at least six meters long. Ivory was tired of everything, she had a big bruise on her shoulder, her mother did that, there was blood coming out of her wrists and her knees. Well, when she was walking on the road, crying, she found a sharp piece of metal, she immediately took it and put it in her hand, knowing damn well what she was going to do with it ; cut herself. That was the only way she could express her pain.

The same night, she received a message from her best friend's mom, saying;

Her best friend, Marjorie, was sick, she had Cancer, but she sadly couldn't make it. Ivy was broken, well she had another best friend, they were a trio, but she knew Marjorie since she was three.

Ivory was watching the beach and the moon for the last time before jumping, telling herself that at least she would be with her best friend. She took a deep breath and then took a step forward.

"Hey!" ivory heard a masculine voice yelling. "Don't do that, please."
"Please leave me alone." ivy said with a small voice, you could tell she was crying from her voice that was trembling.
"No, i'm not leaving you right now, come on." he said. Ivory turned around to see the boy, she could tell he was around her age, he had fluffy dark hair, that's what she could see in the dark.
"What's your name ?" he said. "Ivory." the girl replied.
"Okay, hey Ivory, i'm Jaden, please take my hand, i'm not gonna hurt you i promise."
The girl hesitated for a long moment, then took his hand, softly. She could feel comfort in his hand.

"Uhm.. do you want me to drive you home?" Jaden asked.
"No, please, not home, she's going to hit me!" Ivory said sobbing really loudly, her mother terrorized her.
"Who?"
"My mom! Please! I don't wanna go back there!" she almost screamed.
"Okay okay okay, you know what? you're gonna spend the night at my place, i'm sure my parents and siblings are gonna be okay with that, do you trust me, Ivory?" the boy said.
"I guess i kind of do"

The whole drive was silent. They both didn't know what to say. When they got to Jaden's house, he immediately took her to the guest room, that was next to his room. "Good night Ivory, my room is next to yours if you need to talk" he said as he walked out.

"Who the fuck is she? I thought mom said specifically to not bring girls home!" Jaden heard a voice said, he turned around to see his twin brother, Javon.
"Listen, I had to! She was literally trying to fucking die !" he whisper yelled
"Huh?" Javon said, not understanding. "She was going to jump, Javon, She had cuts everywhere and when i asked her to bring her back at her house she started to cry begging me not to, saying her mom was going to hurt her. i had to bring her here, she needs to feels safe" Jaden explained.
After that everyone has gone to sleep.

The next day, Jaden explained the same thing to her parents and Jayla, his sister.
"It's okay Jaden, just next time let us know" his mother said.
