Next Door Neighbor - A Dylan O'brien Fanfic

Chapter 1

I run into my new home with my arms full of boxes. Setting them down, i spin around eyeing the new view through our patio doors.

"You didn't tell me our house was ON the beach dad!"

"I thought i'd let it be a surprise until you got here."

I open the doors and walk outside to see the waves crashing on the shore of the empty beach.

"Wait - it's all to ourselves?!"

"Mmhm, and just wait to you see you your new room!" My mom replies.

Spoil me much? But I cant complain about the upsides of being the only girl in our family.

"Okay! I'll look in a second, i just want to feel the water first." I reply.

As i walk down the steps to the sand, i trip. Yet, i don't seem to hit the ground. I just feel the large hands of someone grasped around me. Someone caught me? I look up to see beautiful brown eyes and the most perfect white smile.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah i'm fine - i think, thanks to you." I smile.

"Great, my names Dylan. Oh, and seriously it was no problem - the whole catching you thing. I once and awhile dont mind seeing a beautiful face."

Neither do I.

"Well thanks i guess?" Dylan laughs.

Oh shit. Oooh my god. Did i really just say that out loud? Wow great way to start your first day Taylor.

I brush it off by laughing. "My name's Taylor."

"Pretty name - I like it. Anyway, i got to go, but i'll see you around, i live right there." He says pointing next door.

"Okay nice to meet you Dylan. Bye."

"Who was that?" My mom walks out asking.

"Oh no one, just our neighbor Dylan."

"He's cute! glad you met someone new already."

More like hot, sexy. Dayum those biceps. And that hair - he got me feelin. I wonder what his abs look like. I think to myself.

"Snap out of it!" - I slap myself.
