Episode 4 - Ready to Get EXPOSED?

Welcome to a brand new episode! It's time for another last-episode recap, as usual.

Dynamics were further formed in the morning, but no one cares about that - it's the CHALLENGES that matter! The challenge was pretty simple - staying awake as long as possible, with distractions along the way. Some people made alliances, some talked too much, and others just....did nothing. And it turns out, just doing nothing can give you a win, as Tess got the win for her team....and was that a smile I saw?

Distraction wise - Riya took a challenge advantage (how will she use it?), James took an extra vote to get the majority on his team since his team had a 3 VS. 3 in terms of votes. That was until Aiden decided to betray him, giving Karol the boot, and also because clearly, a friendship with Lake means more than a million dollars, with them being enemies by the end....the DRAMA!

So - how will our campers do today? Who will be heading home, and when will I finally get a vacation from this? One day I suppose....anyway, I hope you enjoy this episode. Of. Disventure. Camp. Season 2. Rewritten!

(We segway to the Lake coming from the cabin who just woke up, to see Rosa Maria & Maggy watching James & Aiden fighting).

James

James, please, you still don't know that, we could win immunity or something-

James

Did we win immunity last episode? NO. AND OUR STRONGEST CHALLENGE COMPETITOR IS OUT.

Aiden
IT COULD'VE BEEN YOU OUT INSTEAD, JAMES. WOULD YOU HAVE RATHERED THAT?

(We flip to seeing Lake confused, and talking with the girls, who are watching from the cabin.)

Lake
Good morning, girls! Just asking....have those two been fighting the entire time, and why?

Maggy
They've been fighting ALL morning, Aiden's tried to avoid it and calm it down, but James won't stop.....I don't know why or what it's about though. I've tried not to pay attention to it.

Rosa Maria
Morning, Lake! They have....and it is driving me INSANE...

(We flip back to seeing the two fight).

Aiden
WHY CAN'T YOU JUST UNDERSTAND WHY I DID WHAT I DID?

James
BECAUSE, AIDEN, HOW AM I MEANT TO UNDERSTAND THE IDEA OF THROWING AWAY ONE MILLION DOLLARS LIKE IT'S POCKET CHANGE? DO YOU REALIZE HOW HARD IT IS TO GAIN THAT TYPE OF MONEY?

(Returning to Rosa Maria, Maggy, & Lake, Rosa was fed up..)

Rosa Maria
That is it, I need to stop this fighting, or else not only will it last forever, but I just.....it doesn't feel good to see this again.......it reminds me of........whatever. Talk to you in a bit, girls!

(Rosa Maria walks towards James and Aiden, with Maggy trying to start a conversation).

Maggy - Confessional
Fun fact about me - I haven't started a conversation in years. I don't know how to do this, how it all works, but uh.....it's just a conversation, there's no way it can be that hard, right?

Maggy
Hey.... Lake! Can I ask....a.....question?....

Maggy - Confessional
Could that have been more awkward? COULD IT?

Lake
Hey Maggy! Absolutely, what do you need?

Maggy
I remember you were talking about your other older brother.....Mateo was the name, right?

Lake
Yep!

Maggy
You said he did cartography and knew how to create maps, plus figure out directions just from where he was. Did he teach you anything about that?

Lake
Before he left home, he taught me it. He said since on the family camping trips that we did, it'd be likely we could get lost, and since he wasn't there.....they would likely force me, and he.....didn't want me to get in more trouble than I usually got.....but why are you asking?

Maggy
You see....I wanted to see Kai again. When you and Rosa fell asleep, me and Kai talked a bit....he's cool, and I thought, maybe you could help me find my way to wherever his camp might be. Only if you want to, though-

Lake
OH! So, Rosa WAS right about you liking Kai!

Maggy
SHE WAS NOT!

Lake
(She chuckles). Don't worry, I'll help you out, I did want to get a bit of fresh air anyway. C'mon!

(We flip to seeing Ally going up to Tess).

Ally - Confessional
I admit, I now do worry a bit for Tess. She just seems like she's hurting so much inside....and I don't want her to. My grandfather always supported the message of positivity, and wanted me to spread it....so I'm going to try and help out Tess here, if I can that is.
