Chapter 1: Pilot

On the twelfth hour on the first day of October 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth.

This was bizarre in the fact, none of these women were pregnant when the day had first begun.

This piqued the interest of a very specific person. The world's most renowned eccentric billionaire and adventurer, Reginald Hargreeves. Having caught his attention, Mr. Hargreeves sought to locate and adopt as many of these children as possible.

He got 7 of them.

Though most of them may not be the main characters of this story, they are still very relevant. So, lets introduce them now, shall we...

Number 1, soon to be Luther, has super strength.

Oh wait, we didn't tell you. Yes, these children are special. They have special abilities. Superpowers if you will.

Now the children get their names later but that's because their 'father', Sir Reginald himself, couldn't bother to give them real names. Anyhow, let us continue.

Now, Number 2, Diego, can manipulate moving objects, specifically sharp weapons, though he mostly uses knives. Although with a bit of trust in his abilities and some encouragement, he may be able to control objects thrown towards him or others by other people. Say, moving bullets perhaps...? He's known to most people though as, 'The Kraken'. Weird, I know.

Number 3. Allison. Allison's power is pretty much the same as mind control, though she must verbally activate and use it by saying the phrase, 'I heard a rumor'. Oh yeah, and because of her power, she was labeled, 'The Rumor'. Makes sense.

Onto my personal favorite of the siblings, Number 4, Klaus. Also known as, 'The Séance'. The perfect name for the perfect ghost summoner. Possibly the only one that has won my heart the way he has.
Though it's only in a best friend kind of cousin you can't get enough of way. The kind you would absolutely die for. Anyways, sorry about that. So yeah, Klaus. His power is summoning the dead. He is also the only one who can see the ghosts he talks to unless he uses his powers to make the ghost visible to the other people around him. Though summoning someone or even communicating properly requires for him to be in the right state of mind.

Moving on to someone who I personally adore. Like- a lot. His name, Five. Just Number 5. His name may not sound that special, but to me it is. Anyways, Five can basically teleport by jumping through time and sometimes even space if he wants to time travel. Though if I'm being honest here-... He could improve on the time travelling bit but don't tell him I said that.

Moving on to Number 6. Ben. He's my favorite brother. Even if it isn't by blood. Sure as hell feels like it though. Anyways, his powers reside in his stomach. Literally. You see, if he lifts his shirt a bunch of octopus like tentacles will come out and attack whatever he wants to.

Now finally, Number 7, Vanya. She's well... She's just ordinary. Yup. Nothing particularly 'remarkable' about her. Trust me. She's just normal.

Anyways- OH! I almost forgot. ME! Hi! I'm the narrator of this story. I'm also someone who plays a key part in this story. Someone who, if I didn't exist. This story wouldn't either. Oh, but you'll see more of me later... actually in a few seconds so let's get a move on.

Now, while Sir. Reginald is placing all those prodigies he just collected into their respected rooms. Another baby was being cradled in her crying mother's arms after her husband left knowing the child wasn't his and deciding on the wrong ideas. But alas٫ maybe more of that later on.
