Garroth pov
10 am
"Garroth, wake up you're going to be late for school." Says lev waking me up "but lev, why can't we just pay them to let me skip?" I say in a groggy voice "we have been over this, we can't pay them to let you skip, just because it's a public school does not mean that they're stupid" lev says in his stern voice, why can he ever sound happy or sad or even angry? It's so annoying how profesional he sounds "what ever, at least I don't have to wear uniforms any more" I say annoyed "now leave my room" "yes sir" lev says, getting up to leave

Well this is it, I'm going to public school, "so fun" I say to myself rolling my eyes, I'm usually at private school but recently people have been finding out that I'm the 'prince of Agrajar' which if some how you don't know by now, is where everyone lives, and it's, it's own country. But anyways I get dressed in a plain black T-shirt, light blue jeans, and a grey zip-up hoodie, and of course I put a lot of colone on, I swear I smell better than I sound. I hop into the car and start to the school

10 minutes later

"Have a good day" says lev "I'll try" I say annoyed but under my breath

As I walk onto campus the aroma of "bad food" hits me, sadly I was lazy and didn't want to leave so I did not make it here until lunch, I walk into the office and sign in on the tablet that I have came late to school and walk into the lunch room which to my surprise, is outside? "Never seen this before" I say to my self. I sit down and eat my homemade lunch, by my ✨amazing chef✨

I look up to see a dirty blonde boy with brown eyes walking up to me, I look at him and feel a bit wired, nervous I guess, maybe because I've never talk to anyone yet- "is- is this seat taken?" The boy says to me nervously but charmingly "n-no" I stutter back to him "my name is Laurence, Laurence Zvahl" he says confidently "oh- my name is Garroth, Garroth Ro'ma" I stop mid sentence, realizing I can't say my last name "Ro'mmmmaalldd?" I say stretching it out "Nice to meet you Garroth Ro'mald... was it? "Y-yes" I stutter "nice to meet you too"

We eat Lunch in silence for a bit until one of Laurence's friends come over

"Who's that..?" I see a boy with deamos horns and dark brown hair and dark skin coming up to us "that's Pierce, he's a bit shy so don't scare him like I did when we first met" he says chuckling "..." "not funny? Ok, not a very good comedian am I?" He says as Pierce sits down and seems nervous, looking over in the corner
"What is it?" Laurence asked "Zane Ro'mald is trying to hang out with the shadow knights again..." Pierce says(also they registered as the Ro'malds family btw) "wait, isn't that your brother?" Laurence asked curiously "What! Zane is hanging out with the shadow knights!" I say angrily "...wait, who are the shadow knights again? I say completely ignoring the question because it's obvious "t- the sha- Dow knights are a crew of 3ish kids that love to just destroy property, and Zane is trying to join their group." Says Pierce "also I didn't quite catch your name" he says, he has such a deep voice, it doesn't sound natural for a high schooler "my name is Garroth" I say "Gayrroth...?" He asked "wha- " I say blushing "n-n-no Gah/rr/oth" i say still a little red "what's wrong? Got a little red" Laurence says in a flirty, playful tone which even though I knew was a joke, is made me blush harder "uh-" I say as we all laugh at my humiliation completely ignoring the Zane and shadow knights problem knowing he'll never be invited.

Sorry it's so short, I just wanted to get this out because it's been a while and I haven't wrote anything on this book besides character info, I'm going to write the next chapter this week because I feel bad for this being below 1000 words
