Exhausted

(It's been 3 months since they got Branch back from Velvet and Veneer)

Poppy's POV:
"Beep, beep, beep"

That's all I can hear as I open my eyes. I slam my hand on the snooze button before groggily getting out of bed.

"Ugh, I need sugar."

I grab my dress and leg warmers from my closet before slowly putting them on my body.

"Ok, let's wake ourselves up"

I go to my bathroom and splash freezing cold water on my face. I feel much more awake after doing that.

I grab my brush and go back to my mirror in my room, humming while I go.

I'm just about done with my hair when I feel a very familiar pair of hands wrap around my waist.

"Good morning, Branch."

"Aw, how'd you know it was me?"

"Because one, I can see your reflection in the mirror, second, I know you, and third, you would never let anyone else do this to me."

"Well, it looks like I have taught you well."

I feel Branch lift me up and spin me around to face him.

He just stares at me, a look of pure love in his eyes.

"What?" I ask, a smile escaping my lips.

"I think I might just be the luckiest troll alive."

"Well that makes two of us."

"So, what do you have to do today?"

"Oh, you know, just the usual queen stuff."

"Well, are you free tonight?"

"For you, of course."

"Good. Come to the bunker tonight."

"Sure. Now, I have to go check in on Viva, but I will see you later."

I give Branch a quick kiss on the lips before running out to go see Viva.

I make it to her pod before slowly opening the door. I'm barely in the door before getting a massive hug from Viva.

"Good morning, Veev."

"Morning, Poppy."

She pulls away, smiling at me.

"So, how are you and my future niece or nephew doing?"

"We're doing okay. Although, I never get any sleep anymore."

Viva gently runs her hand over her growing stomach (I'm having her actually b pregnant. Deal with me!)

"Well, it'll all be worth it in the end."

"Yeah, it will. Speaking of which, how's wedding planning going?"

"We've barely even figured out when we wanna get married, so don't ask."

"Ok. Well, you ready to go?"

"Of course!"

Viva grabs my hand and pulls me out, and we begin to sing.
