Billies pov:
I looked back at the sleeping baby in the back of my car. Her hair messy and all in her face, her head resting against the window, her chest rising every few seconds with her lips slightly parted.

I had got a call from her awakening me from my sleep as she told me she wanted to be picked up from her friends house after being out with her all day.

I'm not surprised that the first thing she did when I picked her up from her friends, was her slipping into her headspace. She always does after being out all day with other people or even just around other people. So when she called me she wanted to be picked up I was more than happy to take care of little Maddison. That and also because I missed her.

Before I knew it I was pulling up into her driveway with the little house she shared with her family. I quietly got out of my side of the car not wanting to wake up Maddison or her family who are most likely sleeping in the house as it's quite late at night.

I walked over to her side as I opened up the door slowly as Maddison had her head resting against it but she soon woke up due to the sudden movement as she looked around her, squinting her eyes.

"Hey baby, it's okay it's just me, mama" I quietly whispered to her as she held her arms out for me, letting out a little whine making me unbuckle her to pick her up and place her into my arms. "Tired" "I know Angel I know, we're going inside to go sleep in a second" I reassured as I closed the door to the car before making my way over to the front door of her house.

Holding Maddison in one arm I used my free hand to search through my pocket for the spare key she give me for occasions like this. Once the door was open I quietly and gently made my way inside the house as I noticed all the lights were switched off meaning everyone has gone to bed.

Not wanting to wake up any of her parents or siblings I quietly closed the door, making sure to lock it, I walked my way up the stairs that lead to her little bedroom she had decorated with little teddy's scattered everywhere followed by baby pink walls and her little bed that had her little stuffed rabbit she loved on top of the clean fresh covers.

"Here we go baby" I placed her down onto her bed, allowing me to find her something to sleep in. I turned on the little lamp she had in the corner of her room making it a bit more easier to see everything. After searching for a few minutes I returned with a little white top and a pair of pink striped shorts, decorated with a pink bow on the front of them.

I started to undress her so I could change her into the clothes I had picked out, making her more comfy so she can sleep better. I looked up at her to see her with her eyes closed with her arms wrapped around the little stuffed animal that brought her comfort.

She whined in annoyance as I gently sat her up to take her top off to replace it with the one I found. "Shh it's okay, mamas gonna go quick" I placed the new clean top on her as quick as I could while being just as careful with her. "Mamaaa wan go sleep" she complained as I finished changing her.

"Just a second baby" I threw her clothes she wore today into the little laundry bag she had behind her bedroom door before turning back to her. I pulled the covers back of the neatly made bed signalling for her to climb in under the covers "your so tired, I know" I sympathised with her as she let out a little grumble while she climbed in under the sheets, resting her head on the silk pillowcase.

I helped move her legs under the covers, keeping her warm before reaching over to her bedside table next to her bed as I picked up the little pink pacifier, placing it between her lips, knowing she won't sleep without it. She suckled away on it making her eyes get droopy by the second. I sat down next to her stroking her head helping her fall asleep faster.

"That's it baby" I cooed as she finally gave in and closed her eyes. "I love you, night night sweet girl" I whispered to her as I got up but was soon pulled back when Maddison grabbed ahold of my arm not letting go. "What's wrong Angel?" I asked worriedly. "No go mama! Stay!" She panicked raising her voice a little, making her pacifier fall out of her mouth.

"Okay, okay, sh sh shh" I shushed as she started to get worked up. Her grip still on my arm told me she didn't want to be left alone. "Hey Angel it's okay, mama's comin' back in the morning and we can spend all day together" i suggested as she shook her head holding a sad look on her face. "You will be okay, you have your parents and sisters and even your brother here to look after you while mama isn't. Look you have bunny too" I said happily passing her the little rabbit to hold.

She shook her head as she let out a little sob. "Aw baby, why you so worked up? Hm? Why don't you wanna sleep here?" I took a seat on the edge of her bed, pulling her into my lap knowing all she needs is a bit of comfort right now as I rooted for her pacifier that was wrapped up in her blanket before pushing it past her lips once again.

"Wan seep here but wiv you" she mumbled around her pacifier as she held onto my shirt as she sat in my lap. "Why baby?" I questioned as a few tears fell down her cheek. "Scawed when You no here" "but mama will be here in the morning sweetheart"

"No go" she repeated still clinging onto me, starting to panic once again."Alright baby Shh" I pushed a few strands of her hair out of her face as she laid her head down onto my shoulder helping her calm down a little.

Keeping her in my arms I let her rest against me as I could hear her suckling away on her binki. "You close those tired eyes baby, I'm not going anywhere" "mama stay?" She asked picking her head up off my shoulder, sniffling a little as she looked up at me. "Yes baby. I'm staying" I replied as i moved us both into her bed with her laying on top of me.

"I love you mama" she smiled as she laid her head against me once again. "I love you too sweet baby" i waited a couple of minutes with her tiny frame resting against mine until I felt her fall asleep. Picking her up gently I placed her on her back on the other side of the bed to allow me to get comfy.

Once she was laid down I pushed her pacifier back in her mouth as it had started to fall out along with placing her bunny back in her arms before getting up to take my shoes off along with my jacket making it more easier and comfortable for me to fall asleep in to. Once I got myself situated I laid back down pulling her close to me as it didn't take me long to drift of to sleep either.
