  ❪ MALIBU , CALIFORNIA ❫
May 2007

"This is so cool!" Six year old Isabella laughed as she sat in the back of the jet that her Uncle Rhodey was flying. Pressing her small hands to the window, she looks up at the blue Californian sky. They'd made a trip to San Diego for an event and Rhodes was state side so Tony took her so he could take her up in the jet, like she's always wanted to do, "Can we do some cool moves?" Belly giggles, her fists shaking in excitement.

Rhodey tilts his head to the side, "Attach your mask, and then we can." She pulls the mask over her mouth, and pulls the straps a little tighter around her chest when her Uncle begins to climb up, and up. The sun becomes blinding from her far they climb, nose first. Belly shields her eyes, but she can't help looking gat the gorgeous sapphire sky, that spreads for miles and miles. Rhodes bit on his tongue beneath his mask before diving down, nose of the jet headed straight for the ground. He didn't climb high enough for the thing to stall out, he's done that before and had to eject, the jet crashed into the ocean.

The six year old squeals in excitement when they come inches from the ground, zipping across the desert and making sand fly up. Her uncle climbs up to the right altitude when he flips them entirely upside down. Bells gasps, feeling herself leave her seat and fall into the protection of her belt. "Wave to your dad."

She can just about see Tony's figure outline on the tarmac, waiting for them to come back down when the young girl waves with happiness; a bright smile spread over her lips, "Hey, trouble." Tony waves back up, speaking threw the comms. "Don't do anything stupid, Rhodey."

"I'm not." The pilot replied, a little bit of mischief in his tone before he flips them back round, tugging on the yoke to level out, "What should we do now, Belly-Boo-Bah?" Isabella asks him if they can spin, and they can.

After doing some other cool things, Rhodey flies them back into the base, zipping past the watch tower making the man inside drinking coffee pour it all over himself. Bella laughs, watching him yell a string of curse words at the man, flipping him off. "Do you like being a pilot, Uncle Rhodey?" She asks as he comes into landing.
