Arjun sat alone in his office, the warm hues of the setting sun spilling through the floor-to-ceiling windows. His gaze was locked on his phone, specifically on the image of Sara that had gone viral the previous day. She looked stunning-dressed in a maroon saree that accentuated her figure, a playful smile on her lips as she stood against the backdrop of his brother's reception, dappled light highlighting her features. She had a presence that captivated everyone, and Arjun found himself lost in that photograph for the past five minutes.
He knew he should have been focused on something else-work, his upcoming meetings, or any of the hundred things that demanded his attention. But instead, he was fixated on the comments beneath the picture. His thumb scrolled past the endless stream of admiration, envy, and praise for Sara.
'Sara teach me how to be photogenic.' he muttered aloud, mimicking Dhruv's comment with disdain. He scrolled past with a roll of his eyes. Just because Dhruv was his best friend didn't mean he was above suspicion or scrutiny. Arjun's jaw tightened. He'd married Sara, claimed her as his in a world where power and reputation were everything. No one would dare flirt with his wife without facing consequences-friend or not.
