Chapter 2

'BEEP BEEP BEEP'

I rolled over to my alarm clock. I looked at the time,it was 11:00 am. I rolled outta my bed and went to take a shower. The feeling of the hot steamy water rushing down to my body felt wonderful. I climbed out of the shower and went over to my closet. I picked out a pink lace shirt with my white skinny jeans and some light pink sandals. I brushed my naturally curly hair and applied light make up. I took out my phone and called my step brother Liam

Me:Hey LiLi

Liam:Hey Autumn

Me:Wanna meet up for brunch

Liam:Sure,how's 11:30 sound?

Me:Great,lets meet at The Cheesecake Factory

Liam:K,see u soon.

I got my purse and walked out of my dormitory. I walked outside and got into my black 2011 Coupe. I started the car and plugged in my iPod. Whistle by Flo Rida came on. I drove out of the parking lot and drove to The Cheesecake Factory. (A.N they have the best food ever!)I pulled up into the parking lot,got out and locked my car. I walked inside and looked around for Liam. I spotted him seated by a window. I walked over to him

"Hey LiLi" I said excitedly

"Hey Autumn" Liam replied

I sat down and looked at my menu. I spotted my favorite dish,just looking at the picture made my mouth water.

"Hey Autumn,wipe the drool off your face" Liam said laughing.

I rolled my eyes and went back to looking at my menu until our waiter came.

"Are you two ready to order?" Our waiter,who's name was Vanya,asked.

"I am. Can I have the Chicken Alfredo and a glass of red wine?" I asked as I looked at her. But she was too busy looking at Liam.

"Ahem" I coughed

I got her and Liam's attention.

"Okay, and what would you like?" She said looking at Liam the whole time.

"I'll have the Chicken Parmesan with a Strawberry Lemonade." He requested.

"Great,I'll be back with your drinks" She said walking away but not before winking at Liam

He smiled. I rolled my eyes.

"What?" He asked me

I shook my head while laughing.

"Do you always get that reaction Liam?" I asked while laughing.

"Basically yea." He replied

Not even 5 minutes later,Vanya came back with our drinks. I thanked her but she wasn't listening. I glanced over at the table beside us. The guy saw me and he beamed. I recognized that guy. It was my ex. He got up from his table and walked over. I turned my head and pretended to be engrossed n my phone.

"Hey,Autumn. Long time no see" He said

"Hi,Andrew, and you haven't seen me because I told you to stay away." I snapped back.

Liam looked up and glanced from Me to Andrew.

"Maybe you should go." Liam finally said

"And who the hell are you?" Andrew snapped

"Her brother" Liam said

Andrew left because his date called him.

Not long after our food came. As soon as Vanya put it down in front of me, I dug into it. I heard Liam laugh and I looked up at him.

"What?" I asked

"Nothing." He said and continued to eat.

I shrugged and also continued to eat.

In about. 10 minutes I was done.

"LiLi" I said sweetly

He looked up at me. He gulped and looked at me.

"Yes?" He said

"Can we please order a piece of cheesecake to go?" I said excitedly.

He groaned. He knew what cheesecake did to me. I got hyper and crazy.

"No."

"Please Liam! I'm your favorite sister!!"

I gave him my famous puppy dog eyes.

"Fine. But only because I love u" he said

I called our waiter back and ordered my cheesecake. 5 minutes later Vanya was back with my yummy treat. Liam paid for our meal and we waked out of there. I went to my car after giving Liam a hug and telling him I'd see him at the dorms. I pulled out of the parking lot and drove back to the dorms.

In about 10 minutes I reached my dorm. I went inside and Liam was sitting on my bed.

"LIAM JAMES PAYNE!" I yelled

"Yes" he said quietly

"What r u doing I here?" I said as I put my purse down.

"Nothing I just wanted to visit you

" He replied

"Uh huh"

I was about to walk over to my bed,when my leg hit the sharp side of the table. It started to bleed. Liam looked at it and his eyes turned black.

What was wrong with him?
