Ryujin arrived at the door of Yeji's apartment and started knocking insistently, knowing that she was there since the building's caretaker told her so.

"Yeji, darling. Please open the door for me, please." Ryujin said, feeling her heart race, as she didn't hear an answer.

But then her soul returned to her body, when the door was slowly opened and a Yeji with swollen, reddish cheeks and eyes, welcomed her.

Ryujin didn't say a word and just approached and hug her, while the orange-haired woman sobbed into her shoulder. She stroked Yeji's hair and after closing the door, she lifted her into her arms and carried her bride-style to the room.

She lay with Yeji in her bed and hugged her the entire time, while she seemed to calm down from the warmth of her body.

"I know you still think it was your fault, but it's not, Yeji. Lucy buried her baby's own grave." Ryujin told her softly, as she slowly caressed her back.

There was silence for a few seconds, until Yeji looked up, to see Ryujin.

"But you heard my dad talk, didn't you? He blames me for that."

"But he doesn't know anything, Yeji. He doesn't know anything about you, or Lucy, he don't know you nor Lucy at all." Ryujin told her and Yeji went silence and just closed her eyes enyojing Ryujin's warm.

After half an hour, Ryujin and Yeji were taking a shower. The short-haired woman slid her hands full of liquid soap over Yeji's body, after helped her wash her hair. She was smiling, but Ryujin knew that her smile hid something else, but she didn't want to ask Yeji questions and just dedicated herself to helping her bathe.

After that, Yeji left the room and changed her clothes, lending Ryujin a shirt, but she needed to go to her apartment to get her things, before Lucy got there.

"Wait here for me, okay? Don't go anywhere." Ryujin held Yeji's face in her hands and pecked her lips, while the ginger-haired woman nodded.

"Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." Yeji told her with a small smile and Ryujin kissed her again, to leave her apartment in search of her clothes.

Yeji took a deep breath and walked to her room because she had no intention of being out of bed. It was barely six in the morning and she was about to go to bed, when she heard calls on her phone.

When she took it, she realized it was Seulgi, which meant that her mother might already be aware of what happened, although not with the whole truth, but with lies and deceptions from Lucy and her father

Yeji breathed deeply, thinking for a few seconds about answering or not, but she knew that her mother was not going to stop calling her and the best thing about her was not to make her wait.

"Yeji? My love, what happened? Are you okay?" Seulgi said quickly and tears immediately started coming out of her eyes, but she covered her mouth to try to keep her mother from hearing her sobs, but to no avail. "My love, please. I will take the next flight to Korea."

Yeji smiled a little because despite what Seulgi had surely heard, her mother still seemed to sympathize with her and treat her well, like she always did.

"Mom, I... This is my fault, mom." Yeji said between sobs, while Seulgi remained silent for a few seconds.

"I'll be there soon, okay?"

"I love you, mama."

"I love you, Yeji."

Hanging up the call, Yeji left her phone on the bed, she knew she should announce at work that she would not be attending, but she didn't even have the power to do so.
