It was the first day of summer and I was already bored, I woke up to my brother Alan telling me to get up because mom had made pancakes. I wasn't a big fan of pancakes I was more of a waffles person but I still ate whatever my mom had made.

Walking down stairs from my room into the kitchen i had seen Alan already eating his pancakes like if he was rushing.

" calm down your eating like a pig" I had said to him

" your the pig" he yelled at me

Mom came in before we started fighting " it's the first day of summer you guys can't start arguing"
I just sat there looking at him eat as he got another one. " so any plans for today " mom had asked

" yeah ima go play ball with the boys out in the field"

" sleep all day"

I never understood why he was always at the field even when we were in school after school he would always be there.

" Ivy why don't you try going out finding something to do maybe going to the pool"

" I'm fine mom"

" she doesn't have friends what a loser"

" shut up Alan"

" it's true thought, whatever I have to go the boys will get me again if I'm late. Bye mom love you"

I mean it was true I didn't have any friends, it wasn't always like this I had a big group of friends until I realized how two faced they were and how they were all spreading rumors about me made me mad. That caused me a suspension at school for getting in a fight, I had enough and got in a fight with all of them it wasn't fair through 5vs1 come on not fair.

" baby I really do want you to go out it's summer maybe try making new friends or just go do something but don't say inside locked in" mom said to me

" okay ama" I didn't really trust another female I was in my " trusting nobody" mood after that incident because everyone just recorded and laughed and that made me hate that school, I have done homeschooling since then that's why my ama wants me to go out and I understand.

" ima go to work now I'll come back at night im taking over shift, eat something and be safe I'll be back okay hermosa te amo"

• hours later •

it was already the afternoon and I was just in my room all day not doing anything. What had kept me not getting bored was listening to Frank ocean and getting ready. I had no where to go but I still liked getting ready to at least just feel good.

I was getting hungry and I decided to go out and get something to eat maybe a burger or whatever I found that maybe caught my eye.

I grabbed my lip linear, mascara, lipgloss , IPod, headphones and left to get something to eat.

I had just walked for a while when I passed by a field, I saw some boys in bikes with red and white Jersey talking and laughing. While passing one of them turned to me and looked at me.
