Bringing this back in hopes of regaining all the progress I lost from my previous account which was banned. Will feature both some old ideas and new ones.

*BOOM*
Another machine blows up as I kick them hard against a wall. I take a deep breath and sheath my sword behind my back, taking a look around the area. Surrounding me were dismembered machines which I had just disposed of. But this mission didn't make much sense to me. As an X7 model, I was meant to be a more advanced executioner type against rogue androids, not machines. Though it's not exactly a secret that YoRHa's been running low on resources for the production of new androids. Perhaps that's why I'm being sent out to work like this.
Pod 154: Incoming transmission from YoRHa Commander.
X1: Patch her through.
My pod acknowledges the order and follows it.
Commander: Unit X1, how goes your mission?
X1: Just finished clearing out the last set of machines in the given coordinates.
Commander: Glad to hear it. But I'm afraid I have another mission for you, one that's much more difficult. I'm sure you've heard of the rogue android known as A2, yes?
X1: I've only heard a few stories. What about her?
Commander: According to 9s and 2b, they encountered her in the forest. Since you were designed specifically for the execution of rogue androids, you're the best option for this mission.
X1: Copy that. Do we have a definitive set of coordinates?
Commander: I'm afraid not. She's a slippery one. But I imagine she hides out in the forest nearly all the time.
X1: Then I guess that's where I'll start. I'll keep you updated. X1 out.
The call ends and I begin to walk down the empty roads, heading towards the forest.
Pod 154: Proposal: Unit X1 should gather as much data as possible of the unit known as A2.
X1: I'm not exactly a scout, Pod. If anyone did have data on her, I'd happily take it if it could help me against her.
Pod 154: Query: Commander informed unit X1 that units 2b and 9s encountered A2. Should Pod 154 make contact with Pod 042 and request data regarding unit A2?
I take a moment to think about it and nod.
X1: Do it. I'd appreciate the help.
With that said, the Pod contacts 2b's pod and I get a little nervous. It's been sometime since 2b and I talked. The Commander almost always had us on separate missions and I hoped that she was okay. Once my pod made contact, I could hear 2b panting.
