"Hey man-okay, I have some awesome news for you!"

Mike shifted a little as he sat down in his seat, halfway listening to the call as he picked up the laptop and checked on the ventilation system. There shouldn't be any possessed animatronics, unless Ennard showed up, so the only real danger were those hallucinations.

The Warden Brothers...they really should have made this place a little safer.

"First of all, we found some vintage audio training cassettes! Dude, these are, like, prehistorical! I think they were like, training tapes for like, other employees or something like that."

Mike cocked his head. If they were raiding the old building...did that mean they found the messages that Mike had listened to so long ago?

That would be ironic...

"So I thought we could like, have them playing, like, over the speakers as people walk through the attraction. Dude, that makes this feel legit, man!"

Mike flipped up the camera screen, flipping through a few feeds, grunting a little. The video quality was somehow worse than it had been thirty years ago. How was that even possible?!

"But I have an even better surprise for you, and you're not gonna believe this-we found one! A real one!"

Mike froze as he heard those words play over.

What?

What did that mean? They found...an animatronic?

"Uh-oh-uh gotta go man-uh, well, well look, i-it's in there somewhere. I-I'm sure you'll see it! Okay, I'll leave you with some of this great audio that I found! Talk to you later, man!"

The call cut off, but was soon replaced as a familiar voice began to play over the building's loudspeakers. It seemed to be the same guy who had left the messages for Mike back when he'd been a security guard at the actual restaurant itself, but it was a different tape. Rather than being about a security position, it appeared to be about...

Suits? Animatronic suits?

Right. Springlock suits.

Mike hadn't had to think about them in...a while. Back before everything had fallen apart, springlock suits had been the bane of his father and Henry's existence. Figuring out how to improve and make them safe without weighing down the suit too much seemed to be an impossible task. Mike had caught the two brainstorming solutions on more than one occasion.

Could...could the guys behind Fazbear Frights have found one of the old Springlock suits? Mike thought back, trying to remember...

The only two Springlock suits had been Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. After Fredbear had...killed Evan, then it had been used by William to put Cassidy's body. The last time Mike had seen that suit was decades ago, on the last night.

But it couldn't be that. Mainly because Mike could see the old Fredbear suit-it was right in his office!

Sure enough, Mike glanced to his left and the familiar broken suit was sitting right next to him as one of the many old decorations. It was definitely the original suit-it still had the same decay, bloodstains and posture as Mike remembered-but it wasn't possessed any longer. Mike had tried talking to it on his first night there to see if Cassidy was present, but he hadn't gotten a response.

Of course, that made sense. During the last night, he'd seen Charlie putting all of his father's victims to rest-well, the parts of them that were still in the Classics. Cassidy and Evan were both in that group, which meant they were probably gone. The only possessed animatronics left were Ennard and maybe the Puppet.
