They both waited for the older man to remark--

'Yayyy we pranked you guys'

But It never came. 

The tension in the dining room was getting unbearable now. With Jungkook's heavy gaze settled on his father and Taehyung looking on his left towards his mother with hundreds of questions dancing in his eyes. 

Both the mothers looking straight, so nonchalant as if they aren't the part of whatever left from Joon-Suk's tongue. 

At last older Jeon gathered his remaining courage and faced his Son head on. 

"Yess Kookie.. I and your mother both wants you to give this marriage a thought. You are 26 now, perfect age to settle down. Well established in your career. You had never been in relationships and you don't even like anyone. Also you've been vocal about your sexual preference since young age (Jk is Bi here) so marriage with a boy shouldn't be your main issue."

Raven haired was listening everything patiently with a poker face. Many thoughts were incoming his mind at the same time he was completely blank.

The thing is, Jeon parents have been very patient with him whole his life. They never forced him for anything in 26 years of living with them. Be it his career choices, his sexuality, his stubbornness, his freedom, his way of dealing with things and humans in general so yea this is the first time they are requesting something from Him and he don't know how to react to this at all.

Taking this as a chance to talk with her own boy Mina Kim turned to Tae. 

"Tae I know Its so sudden and you must have never expected this from me my boy but you know how concerned I get cus of the industry you work in. Everyone knows how to take advantage of innocents. And as a mother I wouldn't want my only precious human to fall for such traps and ruin his first hand relationship experience on a bad note." her gaze was soft on Tae with tone dripping in honey. 

Sumin who was quite this whole time decided to add some more. 

"Boys.. as your parents who have seen enough in life just wanna clear that we are not putting you guys in any sort of pressure. Its just that we elders know each other transparently for years end so we are confident on how we raised our kids and who will be good choice for them and who will be not. 

We just wanted to introduce you guys and decide to see if things can actually workout for you both. You can go on dates and spend time together and see if you enjoy each others company. Its not like you have to marry instantly after two three dates NO! everything is in your hands, this is your life and final decision will be yours completely. And we elders will respect that no matter what. We just wants the best for you both nothing much." 

Jungkook knew his mother was very clever with words after all he inherited his manipulative skills from her only. Taehyung however was in completely different dilemma. 

Beauty totally accepts that Jungkook is one hottest snack to exists on earth currently. That baby like face and daddy like body is sweet treat for everyone's eyesight. 

Regardless of it Tae is majorly concerned about ravenette's personality. The way he behaved earlier in the porch somehow gave blond head an idea on how easily angered JK could get. He can only hope its not some serious level anger issues otherwise Tae's answer will be a definite No on whatever arrangement their parents are here trying to mend.
