"I stopped the pill.."

Salish's pov:

I woke up at around 4 Am, an hour before i usually do. I felt sick to the stomach, and realised I was about to be sick. "Shit.." I whispered, as I threw myself off my bed and ran to my bathroom. I began vomiting immediately, keeping my head at the toilet and closing my eyes. "Salish..what happened!!" Whisper-yelled Nidal. You could also hear the tone of worry in his voice. I slowly stopped vomiting, and held my head up. You could see how exhausted and sick I was.

"Poor thing.." he sighed, tying my hair back and rubbing my back and waist lightly. As soon as I finished, I sat up and cleaned my face by washing it with lukewarm water. "You okay?" He asked, slowly lifting me up in bridal style. "It's strange..I don't feel sick anymore!" I said, smiling warmly. It was a relief to see his worried expression change to an expression of relief.

This went on for a week, i would wake up at around 4 AM and vomit, then not feel sick and go back to bed. Another of my concerns was that I was going to the toilet to urinate more often, and I also had heartburn, which was very weird. But then, it all clicked.

Missed period, heartburn, nausea (typically in the morning), urinating often, I..I could be pregnant Turns out I have been forgetting to take my pill.

I rushed out of the house to the nearest pharmacy, and bought a pregnancy test. Conveniently, Nidal was now my neighbour, so we would stay over at each other's houses every day. I got inside and ran to my room, Nidal was fast asleep. I shook him slightly. "Nidal, wake up..please." I whispered. He eventually woke up and looked concerned. I showed him the pregnancy test and he had a look of pure shock. "You think you're.." I cut him off and nodded. "Go do it and tell me what the results say, don't worry, everything will be okay.

After what felt like 300 years of waiting, I flipped the test over. One word. Pregnant. I threw the test out of the room and burst into tears. "Hun, what's wrong?" He asked, picking up the test. "Shit."
