Chapter 7

CHLOES POV
It had been a week since jack and i had that flirty moment in the kitchen and i just couldn't stop thinking about it. 14 year old chloe is probably squealing right now at how flirty we both were that day.

I quickly got ready for the day i went through a quick 20 minute shower and then just threw some jeans on and a white cropped shirt pretty basic but i didn't know the plans for today so this would be my outfit until figuring out our plans today. I sat down on my vanity and detangled my hair then moving onto my skincare applying extra sunscreen on today.

I grabbed my phone and slipped on some white Air-force 1's and went down stairs to find everyone already in the living room or kitchen. Luke and jack laying down on the couch legs draped over each others, Trevor was sat in one of the poofy round arm chairs in the living room, Taylor and quinn were sitting in the love seat just talking about who knows what and Cole was in a starfish position on the floor scrolling on his phone.

"CHLOE" taylor yelled as she threw her phone and in went flying into quinn's lap and she tackled me into a hug "You need to tell me everything tonight at the sleepover" she said whispering in my ear and then leading me towards the L shaped couch as she threw herself on it and brung me down as well with her. "Chloeeee" Luke groaned as i was lying on his leg with a pillow over it. "You're on my leggggg and it already fell asleep so now it's tingling thanks to you!" Luke said dramatically pouting at me then turning to face jack "Get your blonde barbie girlfriend before i literally throw her in the pool" Luke said with another groan towards jack.

"First of all i'm not his girlfriend and second of all i'm not barbie!" I said snapping at him to look at him with a glare which soon turned into an evil playful glare as she jumped on him and hit him with a pillow. "You're not my girlfriend YET" Jack said speaking up with a smirk causing Chloe to huff out a puff of air and look at him dead in the eyes. "And both of you for the love of God please stop fighting my precious ears can't take this anymore" Trevor said whining dramatically and throwing his hands over his ears

"The day that trevor finds someone that can keep up with  is the day ill dye my hair green" Cole said standing up with a straight face then flopping back down to keep scrolling on instagram "Hah well your going to look like stupid really soon because i've been talking with this girl named gracie wells and she actually wants me for me ,not just for my fame ! She doesn't know about the hockey world" Trevor said as his eyes lit up as he kept rambling about how pretty Gracie was and how he could talk about her for days I wondered if that's how jack felt about me but i quickly pushed those feelings deep down.

DING my phone went off but it was thrown on the coffee table and i couldn't bare to grab it as i was snuggled right in between Luke and jack which was funny considering 3 minutes ago me and Luke wanted to kill each other. Even though i payed no mind to my phone it rang again DING. This time Trevor couldn't hold back his nosey self and he picked up my phone but his light playful smile quickly dropped and turned into a frown when he realized what the notifications were about "Hey chloe why is jackson texting you?" All eyes turned to me and the mood in the air quickly changed to tense. I  turned to look at jack and saw that his jaw was tightened and his hands balled up into fists

"Oh um i don't know pretty sure i blocked him didn't it?" I don't remember a lot from that night just crying in luke's arms blocking Jackson on instagram , snapchat ,twitter everywhere i could but dang it ! my drunk self didn't delete him off my contacts, good job blondie the most important app and you couldn't do that one first maybe i am a dumb blonde..

Trevor passed jack the phone and then jack tilted it so we both could see the messages as it aread :

                       JACKSON MARQUEZ

   jackson : hey chloe chlo miss me? 😏
jackson : also tell your little body guard he fucked up my nose and jaw

"Oh no he didn't !" Taylor said as she had snatched the phone from luke's hands and showed it to quinn for them both to read but i hadn't realized as i was stuck in a daze on how persistent jackson was and how it really pissed off jack. "Okay guys im gonna be the mediator and say how about we just watch some movies and then at 5 we can start our sleepover shenanigans" Quinn said as he clapped his hands together and reached for the remote and he turned on Snow white "OMG ARE WE HAVING A DISNEY PRINCESS MOVIE MARATHON" luke and trevor both squealed "Yes yes we are" Jack said as he had finally calmed down and he rubbed his temple trying to figure out a way to block out trevor and luke's squeals and as soon as cole joined in he pulled me closer by the waist put  left his hand on my waist and threw his right arm over my shoulder lazily, he leaned down and whispered into my ear "As much as i hate to say it i really do love princess marathons with you "

"Huh is that so pretty boy?" The nickname just rolling off my tongue and i internally screamed at myself from the inside on how stupid i could be "Pretty boy ? Huh that's a new one well okay princess get comfy cause we are going to be here a while" He spoke a small smirk playing at his lips as he looked at me then turned his attention to the tv . I was clearly flustered from the pet name princess as i hate pet names but when they came from his mouth it didn't sound that bad

hii loves i got my motivation back but like i finally decided on what im going to do with chloe and jack because i had promised myself this was a soft burn but then they kissed 4 chapters in .. you can tell i got a little too excited but i was originally have jack hook up with maggie while he was drunk and not realize his mistake till after but i realized i made him too much of a sweet heart to do that so i think now ik what im gonna do hopefully

um so i changed this as well cause i changed the last chapter and unpublished another chapter about the kiss because its supposed to be a slow burn duh
