Chapter Eighteen: Bye Bye Beast City

Opheila looked over her family while her cubs/hatchlings play, she noticed that her boys were so very protective of their sisters, which was nice to see.
She frowned in though about siblings and parents for a moment, she thought about what James Potter spoke about and she understood but she could not just over come years of torment and being left alone by the people that were meant to be her greatest supporters.

She shook her head to rid herself of the thoughts when she felt Axel come up behind her, then pulled her into his arms as her other mates were tending different tasks, she missed Axel greatly as he was the first to know everything about her and would not trade him for any other.
He was and will always be her most stead fast companion and protector. She loved all her mates, but there is always something about first real love that has the most impact on a person.

She had been back a few weeks now and was thankful for her family. Her children were growing and seemed to like their grandfather and uncles along with their other fathers.
She wanted to visit other tribes soon, she felt movement over the last few weeks in the earth and knew something drastic would happen, it would cost many lives and it was time for the witch's that came with her old family to get mates of their own.
So, with that in mind, she would go with four of her mates and two of her female companions to help find them mates, she also had to ward the island from merman as they had a issue about a week back woth several on the island and presumed that one of them was called Qin and when she Informed them that no one was called that they would not take no for an answer and tried to force there will, she made sure to curse the mermen for it and added wards to the island.

They had their king come to the island and at the beginning he started to do the same but she had him kneeling informing him that if he wished to act like a feral then she would treat him like one.
That caused him to pause when he and his people were referred to as feral, and she repeated it when he informed her of the way of their people.
She made she that they were driving themselves to extinction when they lock their females up and force to do nothing but breed, it caused depression and will drove the female to kill herself as from he said all the females do.
He did not like but he was out matched by the males on the island and the females but he did accept what she said and asked if the males could court some of the females, she stated that they will be allowed as long as there intention were for courting if they attempt to kidnap, hurt or kill.
It seems several did not take the warning seriously and were maimed or killed for it. She found her mate Aron had little care for the mermaid clans and thry did not like him but could do nothing.
She had informed him though of were she last heard of Qin and that he should try harder with Qin  allow her more freedom of choice and not force her into mating, look at courting others instead, which left him thoughtful.

She had been working on ships to cross the sea, but she had been getting to know who else was in the water and expanding the island to make it larger.
She was surprised about the Kraken beast man that came to the island and persuaded Luna into mating, but she was happy for Luna, and the Kraken was content to do what Axel had done
His name was Eric, and he was good friends with both Axel and Aron, which had Opheila relaxing.

Opheila had found out recently that Wilbert had turned beast city against Bai Qingqing and forced her out, which she knew would happen, but what surprised her was that he was looking for her according to the house elfs.
But Opheila was concerned with regards to the earth movements on the mainland, and after sending out her magic, she felt the lava rising and knew the city was going to blow.
With that she ran out of the cave and apparate to the city then started grabbing items making them in to port keys then dashed and started grabbing females along with that males they had woth them then sending them to the island then grabbing who she could before reaching the palaces, she dashed inside when the ground started to rumble, she gave them a port key before dashing to another palace but it was empty.
By the time she got to the Ape palace everywhere was shaking, she found blno one there apart from a unconscious beastmen who was alive and a very large, she got another port key and left just as the shaking stopped and everything exploded, taking all she could not save with it.

She arrived back to frantic males, females and her mates looking for her then when they saw her with an unconscious males, she looked tired but beautiful as she saved many people before she passed out scary everyone who cared for her.
