Have you ever felt
From time to time
Those special tears
That you could say
They were actually burning your skin?
I name those
"Tears from the heart"
Because, usually when we cry
Over nothing,
Over small things,
We just feel them going down our cheeks
And the wet spot they leave behind.
But when something is really hurting us
And it makes us feel
Like the world is ending,
That our heart is breaking inside our chests,
And tears show up,
And they are like ....
Fire on our skin.
That's when you know,
You're truly hurting.
Because those tears,
That were burning your eyes
And your skin,
Those are really
Tears from the heart
