Dumon x Rio (🤍fluff💜)

A/n: This is gonna take place after Astral brings back the barians, and I might include Yuto, Lulu, and Shay in this one shot too

Rio is in Heartland City shopping with her brother. While shopping she saw Dumon. She wondered why Dumon was going shopping, but then she realized that the mall has a bookstore and he probably went there.

Rio wasn't wrong. Dumon had just walked out of a bookstore. He bought some books for himself and some for Emily since she was too lazy to go and get her books, but Dumon didn't mind getting any books for Emily since he always reads her books.

Dumon looked up and saw Rio. The two made eye contact. Dumon decided to walk over to Rio. Once he got over to her he said,
"Hey."
"Hi. What are you doing here?" Rio asks
"I was just in the bookstore getting books for Em and me," Dumon says
"Ah, I see. Are you getting books for Em 'cause you're always reading her books?" Rio asks
"Pretty much ya," Dumon says

Rio just nods. She didn't have anything else to say. She was going to turn around when she saw two familiar faces. Dumon turned around to see what Rio was looking at. The two then saw Yuto and Lulu walking around holding hands.

Yuto and Lulu looked and saw Rio and Dumon. They immediately let go of each other's hands and walked over to the two former barians. Lulu stood beside Rio and Yuto stood beside Dumon, but they were facing each other.

"Hi, Rio," Lulu says
"Hi, Lulu," Rio says
"Hi," Yuto and Dumon says
"So, why were you two holding hands?" Dumon and Rio asks
"We're dating." Lulu and Yuto say

Rio and Dumon both gasped. They were shocked to hear that. But then again, Emily did tell them that Yuto and Lulu both like each other. Dumon then looks around and notices that Shark and Shay are talking to each other.

Rio and Lulu look at each other with the same look that says 'How are they, friends?' Yuto and Dumon walked over to Shark and Shay followed by Lulu and Rio. Shark and Shay saw the four of them walking toward them.

"Hey." They all said

They all talked for a few hours, but when it started to get dark, they all went home. Once the Kastle siblings and Dumon were back at Arclight Manor, they went to their rooms. Rio put away all of her clothes and Dumon put away all of his books. He then went to Emily's room and gave her the books.

Dumon then went to his room and started to read a book that Emily had given him. While he was reading, Rio came into the room. She sat on Dumon's bed and looked at him. Dumon looked at Rio and put his book down on the table beside his bed.

"I need to tell you something," Rio says
"Go ahead," Dumon says
"I like you, like a lot," Rio says
"I do too," Dumon says
"Really?" Rio asks
"Yes, now will you be my girlfriend??" Dumon asks
"Sure!" Rio says happily

Dumon slowly leans in closing the space between the two of them and attaching his lips to Rio's. Rio kisses back. She enjoyed the kiss she and Dumon had but wished it lasted longer than five minutes.
