Midterms

Finally it was the day of the midterms and Misaki didn't get any sleep whatsoever. She was training for the Olympics all weekend,(Well that's how Suzana explained it) and she was determined to beat that baka Usui.

The teacher handed out the tests as he explained unimportant rules everyone knew, and he told them to begin. Misaki was off to a great start. She was completely over prepared for the mid-term. Her demonic aura flooded the room and even scared the teachers. She was ten times scarier. The bags under her eyes made it look as if she a zombie. The entire testing period was a horror film for the other students.

Other than the new nightmares, the testing ended smoothly with no casualties (well and the men who were sacrificied when Misa caught them skipping class.) Finally, all of the students were done.

Misaki was confident in her answers but also very drained. She didn't have a single regret sleeping in the student council room after school.

As always, Usui was lurking around school and periodically checking on the prez, when he noticed a few male students gathered in the hall gossiping after school. He was just breezing past them when he heard mention of the kaichou and eavesdropped in on the conversation.

"Did you hear what the student council president did?!"

"No what happened?!"

"During the mid-term I took a glance at her answer sheet to maybe steal some answers but she was going too fast. However, I noticed something peculiar..."

"What did she do?!"

"She wrote her name as 'Takumi Usui' " The boys erupted in a thunder of laughter at the dumbfounded prez they would see when her test result didn't show up.

Usui seemed to stop in place as his eyes widened.

She couldn't have... She's always so thorough.

He remembered how tired she was, and how sleep deprived she bacame because of him. A rush of guilt coursed through him as he instinctively walked towards the office in which the graded sheets were sitting.... Alone.
